heyLIME offers riffs on popular card games and board games, adapted (and improved) for digital format with a focus on encouraging communication and teamwork. With new activities added monthly, check back often for new titles:

• GIFs Against Society. An irreverent "card" game in which players complete fill-in-the-blank statements using words, phrases, and GIFs (which some may or may not deem offensive, risqué, or politically incorrect). For fans of Cards Against Humanity

• Tip Of The Tongue. A word-guessing game for 2-10 players. For fans of Heads Up, Charades, Scattergories

• Verboden. A team-based competitive word-guessing game for 4-12 players. For fans of Taboo, Catchphrase, Scattergories, and Heads Up

• The Word. A cooperative family-friendly word game where players enter a clue without breaking the rules (as monitored by the Referee) for the Guesser, who must figure out the mystery word. For fans of Just One, Catchphrase, Scattegories, and Heads Up

• Done With 2020. A fill-in-the-blank card game for those itching for a better 2021. For fans of Cards Against Humanity

• Ochos Locos. A variant of a classic playing card game taking place in the Wild West. For fans of Crazy 8's and Uno

• Charty Party. The Game of Absurdly Funny Charts. Players are presented a chart with a missing label, submit their own version of the label, and take turns deciding the best one. For fans of Cards Against Humanity

• Fluster. Social Card Game of Unusual Questions and Deep Conversations. A gamified icebreaker where there are no losers and everyone wins a deeper understanding of each other. For fans of icebreakers

• Conspiracy Theory. The Game That Reveals The Truth. A trivia board game that tests your knowledge of the world of internet conspiracy theories - Aliens, Myths, Urban Legends, and more. For fans of Trivial Pursuit

• Bingo. The classic game for large groups, stylized and brought online.

A new way to spend virtual time with friends

We are all pretty sick of social distancing by now and zoom (or whatever you use) hangouts have become stale as small talk virtually isn’t as fun as in person- this app lets you play cards against humanity and other games with your friends while still chatting- it’s like having our usual game nights again! We also plan to use this when we are back to hanging out in person like jack box as something new and not high stakes to play

Awesome way to spend time with family and friends!

This app is amazing, it’s a great way to connect with friends and family during lockdown, and will be convenient to use after! Instead of driving over to a friend’s house, you can play GameApart from the comfort of your own home, and can have as many drinks as you want without having to worry about driving or catching an Uber! Connecting virtually is definitely going to be the norm from now on, and GameApart makes it super easy and fun!

Playing games with our friends but not having to GO anywhere is one of our fave things about this, too! Thank you for the nice review, so glad you are enjoying it!

Paying the $5 should exempt your guests from ads

My friends complained that they still had constant ads on their phones even though I paid for the upgrade. They’re not willing to pay $5 each to get rid of the ads, so they have refused to include GameApart in our weekly game night rotation because we have ad-free options that are either free or only require the host to pay. So now I’m out five bucks and we’ve just gone right back to Jackbox, Use Your Words, and Codenames only, which we’ve been playing for a year.

Incidentally we’ve also repeatedly had issues with bugs, so really just all-around not a good experience. Customer service was receptive to the bug issues though.
