While your detective agency is busy gathering information, your friend is dragged into the phantom city by black smoke. All around there are people and things gaining unusual abilities and a black smoke that seems to be alive, bringing with it enigmatic artifacts, secrets and dangers.
In order to rescue your friend and solve these unexplained phenomena, you will need to fulfill risky quests, explore dungeons, research amulets and get help from friends. Unravel the many mysteries of Shadow City as you fight monsters, confront a cult and rid the city of a horrible evil!

more Love this game. I have no problems with crashing. I use a Mac, that may be why, I don’t know. The graphics ae beautiful. The scenes are complex, so I have to use my memory, and my shape recognition skills, great for an aging brain I think. I destest the expedition game within the game - as you have to spend a fortune to get through the game. That’s true of the crystal game too, but I am so competitive ….so there are hooks to your competitive nature. That said I would like to see the rewards be a little more avialable, and the mini games a little easier - I find I spend too much money buying crystals…. I also have to limit my time playing as you can get lost in it. I will keep playing. Of special note if you update your Mac you will probably lose your game place. It is probably smart to sign in through facebook as it saves you place. However, if this does happen the G5 folks can recover your level.

Items show up as boxes with question marks and characters appear as a silhouette of the dude wearing goggles. Monsters are roaming around the city, but they’re darkened and when I click on them I get a ‘in download queue’ message. One location (the Station) did load and I was able to do a search, except I don’t know what I got because all the items were those question mark boxes. Didn’t matter anyway since the app crashed immediately after and I lost all of them. I’m hoping more ticket requests and bad reviews will get their attention and expedite a fix. It’s annoying as hell.Update Feb 7: No immediate solution; issue has been passed to tech team. Updated my Mac to Sierra and now all game progress has been lost, but achievements and friends are still there. Also still logged into my Game Center account. I really liked the game, but now it’s just a headache.Update Feb 13: Again, no immediate solution for lost progress. Still no solution for crashing after level 10. It allows you to spend energy and rubys but as soon as you complete a search and go to collect your award, the game crashes and you lose everything from that search. I completely uninstalled the app and re-installed only to have it work for less than 24 hours. Now, even that does not remedy the issue. This makes the difference between this game being awesome and now a big waste of my time. Please fix it! If you can fix it, I would be happy to change my rating to 5 stars.Update- 1/4/18 Still no response from tech support which matches with other reviews. I was notified that if my trouble ticket goes 5 days without a posting, it will automatically drop from the system. so there is no incentive to fix anything because it will eventually drop off and be replaced by someone else who is wasting their time.
