Doesn’t Stretch out your Wallpaper *Updated*
So called “Pro” version doesn’t stretch out your existing wallpaper. My resolution was 2560x1440 which much more common now and my wallpaper’s dimensions are 3840x2160 so it should have no problems. The first thing that you see when you launch this “Pro” app is a warning say it doesn’t guarantee that wallpapers can be used. While I have no problem believing that to be the case in every single circumstance, I just have a feeling that this developers technical wizardry and aptitude for developing efficient algorithms falls short.
This has been corrected! Well done! You see, I knew you could do it after a good spanking review!!!
Great app, one tiny bug
App is great overall and does the job. There is one tiny bug though, if you use full screen apps with split screen, and if you turn on HiddenMe pro, the black bar in the middle separating two apps disappears and takes the form of desktop picture.
Also, when you switch between full screen apps, momentarily destop icons are visible before they go hidden again, however, I am guessing this is apple’s background app policy as it does not run too many apps in the background to save battery life, but annoying to have it when the mac is plugged in.
It’s good for the most part
I absolutely love how this app hides all my desktop clutter, but there is one issue I have with it. When it’s on and I switch from one desktop to another, the background briefly flickers from on background to the image that the rotation is currently on. The description for this app says “No flickering!” and so I thought it was talking about the issue I’m experiencing, but either it’s a lie or I was mistaken about what it was referring to. A clarification on that or an update fix would be pretty nice.
