The number and variety of workouts is great. Plus more always being added. I like the follow along videos best. Plus excellent nutrition information. And I’ve never had any trouble with getting responses from customer service or getting refunds or any of that! Makes me wonder if those people are trolls.
A couple things I think would make the app even better, and closer to being with a real coach at the gym - 1. Give tips on what to pay attention to for correct form on each exercise. 2. Give alternatives right in the workout for exercises if we can’t do the primary one. For example, I don’t have a place at home to do pull-ups and couldn’t do them even if I did. I’d love to see alternative options right there on the page rather than searching Facebook posts. 😊
I really enjoy the workouts. They give you a good burn while also not taking a ton of time. However, i have been disappointed in a couple of things. First, some of the workouts are very advanced right away (and I’m not new to working out). Also, I reached out to Kelsey and got a response before signing up. I was really excited that maybe i would finally have a program that has workouts i enjoy while also being able to talk and get feedback from the trainer that i invested in. I haven’t heard back with the questions that i have sent after purchasing the app. Also, the app is confusing for me to use. The app also kicks you out if your phone locks or you go into a different app. It would be nice if the app was easier to navigate. It would also be nice if there was a timer built in to time you and a place with recommended weights and a place to log the weights you use. Modifications would be nice within each workout too. I really like the concept, i just believe it could use an update. The SWEAT app is very easy to navigate and very useful.

I’ve been wanting to try this app for a while, and so glad that I did because the workouts are great! Just the right amount of challenge to make you feel like you got a great workout in, but also really fun so you look forward to coming back the next day. I’ve tried other workout apps and I really like how this one focuses more on good form and quality of movements rather than just trying to perform as many reps as possible in the given amount of time.
A few app suggestions:
It would be nice if you could preview what exercises you’ll be doing in a workout before you actually start the video. Just a little breakdown under each video would be awesome. It would also be helpful if there were alternatives listed for an exercise that not everyone can do/has access to the equipment needed.
