Ratings and Reviews
Since I purchased this device I use it exclusively for all my grocery shopping. I love how it can be used by voice, scanner or just type in items. It keeps track of everything by aisle making shopping so much faster. It worse great and I hope they keep adding more features. The one thing I would like to see in a future update would be an apple watch app. That way I can just glance at my wrist while moving through the store. That would make this the perfect shopping assistant.
Crashes a lot, and very little development
This is one of the only apps I use that consistently crashes, and also one of the least often updated apps I use. I imagine there is a correlation there - they don’t appear to be putting any effort or time in to anything more than the most basic of app maintenance.
In addition to the frequent crashes, they also haven’t updated the app to support the iPhone X screen, the support for multiple stores is clunky at best, and they still don’t have voice or barcode input in the app (really? You sell an entire gadget that does that, and you can’t be bothered to put those features in your app?).
All in all, this would have seemed like a great effort and product in 2013, but today? You’re better off just using Siri and your grocery list app of choice or Alexa.
I’ve used this for awhile- still love it!
I basically just use the app, sometimes , the device. I add something as I think of it.
I also have added multiple stores, other than groceries. I added Home Depot, Pet Smart- any store you need. ALL of my future shopping needs are on the one app! I only wish Hiku would let me modify the lists to include Home Depot type aisles, such as hardware, plumbing, etc.
I like that I can swipe an item off, or if I don’t want to buy this trip, I simply leave on for my next trip out!
