HippityPip does one thing, and does it really well: it teaches your child your phone number.
It's the safety skill parents, teachers, and first responders recommend first. If you and your child are ever separated — at a theme park, an airport, a national park, or on the way to grandma's — your phone number is how they find you.
Just type in your number and HippityPip instantly creates a personalized song by popular children's recording artist and educator Bobby Beetcut. Fair warning: it's an earworm. You and your child sing along and remix the song with hundreds of musical combinations, and before long your child will be proudly singing your number from memory. Download it before a flight and your child may know your number by the time you land.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your phone number never leaves your device — the song is created right on your iPhone or iPad
• No data collection of any kind: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Our App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because we literally collect nothing
• Optional practice reminders stay on your device too, and grown-ups control them behind a parental gate
If your child ever becomes lost or separated from you, they'll only ever be one song away from finding you.
HippityPip now plays on iPad! The whole band fills the bigger screen, and everything works just like it does on iPhone.
Also in this update: practice reminders arrive at a time you choose instead of a fixed 5pm, and tapping one opens the band and starts the song right away. VoiceOver reads every screen, including your phone number one digit at a time, and Larger Text and Reduce Motion are respected throughout.
