Great start, but needs work
I agree with the last person that a company that has a minority share should not be able to hire extra people without a vote of some sort. In addition, after the first game (if I end it and start a new one), I can build a product, but my marketing and sales do not yield any results. Everything just stays at zero. But a great idea. Lots of potential. Could even eventually be used as an educational tool.
Great game, but needs work
I love the game, and it has the potential to be awesome if this was added:
Firstly, I feel like the prices for assets are WAY overpriced, and I don’t see why a rust bucket; crappy car would be a million dollars. I currently have 124 million dollars in the game, and it’s really annoying that I have a semi-detached house and a mini-cooper. In real life someone with that money could buy a mansion and have like 12 cars. I find it very annoying, sometimes insulting that I have so much money, but I have such crappy assets.
Secondly, I would like to see acquisition offers to be much higher. My company is currently worth 400 million dollars, and the largest offer I’ve gotten was a 30 million dollar buyout, even though I have lots of fans and my product has been marketed all over the place. I would love to see higher acquisition offers so that I can be determined to make my company better.
Lastly, I have noticed a small issue where my sales department got to 100%, and every time I wanted to buy something, or even higher employees, my game would crash and I had no choice but to start over.
All in all, this is a great game, but if this stuff was added, it would make the game much more enjoyable.
First of all, lots of fun. There are far too few simulation games out there. I'm excited for CEO hipster 2 to see some much needed improvements though. The average sales per day and average revenue per day are basically useless as it averages every day since the beginning. It needs to do a weekly average (charts and graphs to show trends would really help). Also a lot of employees stats are unclear as to their purpose. (Teamwork, productivity, dedication). There should be some options to train employees to up stats. The interface needs a little tweaking as you often have to cycle through lots of menus, and the investment offers get annoying really fast. Your inbox in the game is just spammed by them. maybe add some different job positions too. This game is too one dimensional for how complex it is.
