I too made it to the airport for the awards ceremony, on my fourth try. First, I crashed into the sea like told to do, but was arrested by the enemy. Second, I again crashed into the sea, but was close enough to land that skipped a couple of times and ended up on the beach above the waves. Nothing happened after that. Then on third try I deliberately landed into the sea and sank after a little while. No arrest or rescue. Fourth try I took off the carrier and did climbing circles around the carrier until I was at 15 thousand agl. Then flew towards the airport. Was hit by AA. Lost the engine, and glided down for several minutes to the runway, and was met by nothing. No awards, no nothing. That was the way the game ended. Nothing. Hence my 4 star rating. The game was fun, for a whole hour.. Had fun though. More more more, Thanks.

I was able to land the airplane on the final mission but received no award. Reason I believe is because Developer thought it could not be done. The way to do it is to take off keep full throttle and head out to sea climbing to 20,000 feet. You then fly parallel to the coast line...you should be about 13 miles off the coast. When you are parallel to the airport and still 13 miles out turn and head towards the airport. The engine will blow out but you are high enough to glide in. Dip to increase speed when necessary and slowly descend. You should be above 200 knots as you approach the field. Slow down using air brake and if need be the flaps. Approach the field at about 120 knots and decrease to 100 - softly land. You will find out that no one will approach the plane and give you any citation. By the way, this is a great game!

I'm an amateur pilot (up for VFR certification soon), and I enjoy this game. It's the next best thing to a simulator, considering the iPhone/iPad format. I'd only ask for improvements in the "simulator" mode of...ahem...*more realistic* controls seems only to mean less responsive controls, not an improvement in the physics or flight engine. Would also like more levels: especially for those who spent the money on the full version.

Anyway, bottom line: would I recommend the game? Yes. Do I find it perfect? No. Happy iPhone/iPad gaming! 😃
