History Hit 12+

I have loved history since my early days and we had Social Studies classes. Other networks claimed to be history focused, but alas they gave in to the pressures of reality tv content and the world became a sadder place for it. Then I stumbled across your channel on You Tube and I submerged myself in story after story of amazing content. It dawned on me that there was an app, partly because it was mentioned every time I watched a video. Now I’m a subscriber, two days in and I fall asleep listening to dialog that seemed impossible to get. I’m in love! I want to tell the world about this app, so this is my attempt to hail your praises! My one concern is I hope you’re making a profit. The content is so well put together that it must be god awful expensive to produce. Hopefully my subscription will aid in reducing the financial burden. Once again, thank you for creating this amazing digital space.

For those who began this app, thanks so much. It’s been an amazing and appreciated treat for history lovers like me. The one thing I find myself wishing though every time I watch is that the videos NEED a jump forward ten or 15 second button like on all other streaming services. It’s so easy to miss something said and to not have the ability to tap screen to jump back means we have to manually scroll back and then we watch many minutes more just to get where we were. I also wanted to say I saw a petition going around saying to boycott this page since its founder is not a real historian. Such nonsense! You guys are wonderful at teaching and that petition seemed very jealous when I saw it. Keep making good programming (truly hoping with more funding you’ll have more content and become a REAL streaming history channel in the way that the history channel lost a long time ago. Thank you!! Love the founder and love suzannah and all the new people you introduce us to. X

This app is so wonderful for all the historical dorks out there like myself. So many different topics and videos choose from! I’m so happy that not all episodes are the same length. It allows me to watch shorter episodes in the morning while getting ready for work and longer episodes at night while I am winding down. They have so many topics from from early civilization, to the 13 colonies in America, Egypt, and even the Irish war of independence! So cool that so many different topics are present in this app; and Dan Snow makes watching and learning about these topics even more enjoyable! I have finally found a streaming service I’ll never get bored of. Thanks so much for creating this for history lovers like myself!! 10/10 I would recommend to friends!
