Hitsteps Overview is a lightweight macOS menu bar companion for your Hitsteps account. It keeps your most important website activity close at hand without needing to keep the full dashboard open.
Use it to:
- View live online visitor counts or pageview counts in the menu bar
- Open a compact dashboard popover with overview, visitor map, and recent visitor views
- Receive macOS notifications for Hitsteps dashboard and chat activity
- Open your full Hitsteps dashboard when you need deeper analytics
- Keep your Hitsteps chat presence active while you are using your Mac
- Launch automatically at login on supported macOS versions
Hitsteps Overview requires a Hitsteps account, a website with Hitsteps tracking installed, and your website's Hitsteps API code. If you are new to Hitsteps, create an account, add your website, install the tracking code, then paste your API code into the app settings.
The app is designed for site owners, marketers, support teams, and webmasters who want a quick real-time view of website visitors from macOS.
