This Safari extension only runs on the Hacker News site. It will not collect or transmit ANY of your browsing activity.

Works well and doesn’t burn my eyes!
needlessly breaks visited color
I was super excited about this, but it removes the color difference between visited and new links :(. This might be a bug, as the colors in the screenshot are also much more pleasant, allowing contrast to tell the difference between each post; as installed, the colors are all the same.
