I bought the C9 lights for the front of my house. I bought two sets of 48 and three sets of 24. The idea is good and I so wish that it worked properly. The app does not allow for a timer to set when the lights come on and go off. You have to turn the lights on manually with the app when you get home, however there is an option to have the lights shut off after a predetermined time up to 9 hours. I get home late and travel for work a lot so the lack of a timer to turn the lights on is a deal killer. Also, the settings are not remembered once you leave the app. Every time I log in I have to choose a show or setting of my liking. It takes a long time to adjust. Also, the lights disconnect from Bluetooth often and again your settings are lost. I loved the idea, but the functionality is lacking. It’s lacking enough that I’m returning the lights.

I am a self-employed business owner. Bad Reviews are an absolute last resort. I have to be 100% certain the the bad service or product received was not/is not just a one-off event. I’ve left maybe two in my entire life. But I have to tell you.....this product simply does not work.

There are more bugs, flaws, and other nonsensical outcomes to what should be a simple process - plug lights in - connect Bluetooth - control lights. Instead, IF /IF you can get the lights to even connect, good luck getting them to change color or appearance (flashing, etc). After having fought with these for an hour, plugging and unplugging, connecting and reconnecting, I am stuck with green lights that are not responsive to my app, and an app that recognizes the lights but tells me they are password protected whereas I have to clear the password...never mind that I didn’t set a password, and don’t even worry about the minor fact that there’s no place on the app to even do so!

This isn’t a buyer beware thing. Straight up, DO NOT BUY.

I’m pretty tech savvy but getting these two sets of spot lights to work correctly have been way too much trouble! Every night, I turn them on and one set or the other doesn’t work. They may come on but they won’t change color. Or, they won’t blink, or they won’t both turn off at the same time when the timer is set. I also think the wattage is low, even turned to the brightest setting. I have to be outside right by the lights with my iPhone app to set up anything to work correctly and sometimes it’s just too cold!! I had thoughts to add more to my display but have decided against it for this year. I will be upping my game next season and these particular lights will be given away and I will be starting over with another brand!!!
