Great game - question for developers

This game is fun to play. For me, discovering the ways to upgrade the character wasn't initially intuitive to me. (If you're in the same boat: touch character picture in upper left corner above backpack. After using points, touch the book depicted on the same screen and youll be able to apply special skills you've earned.) Same with where to put the little "tokens" that you collect along the way. (main screen, little book in lower right corner) If you are dying a lot be sure to use these upgrades as they make a significant difference. Also, keep on upgrading your clothing and weapon.

I absolutely love the empathetic storyline and subtle education about experiences different from our own (or a tribute to, if you've escaped someplace war-torn or under tyrannical rule. In which case, bless you!)

Here comes a spoiler so don't read if you aren't finished:

Developers, I really want to find his daughter and "endless mode" suggests the quest is... y'know, endless. 😉 I don't really want to start from scratch just to play forever in a vain attempt to resolve that one mission. Is that what endless mode is? Have you considered a supplemental chapter that could be earned to wrap up this last part of the story. We've come so far for one reason and that goal is never reached. I would also like to save the son of the poor woman I murdered to prevent the bombing. Let me save him, you meanies! Thanks for all your great work!

Surprisingly Good

When I first downloaded this game I figured it would just be another survival game with a cheesy storyline. However, this is game is so much more than that. The storyline is interesting and emotionally impactful. You meet several characters as you go who have such dynamic stories behind them. There is no absolute evil or good. Typically in games like this, the story is almost a distraction, but this one I found myself reading through the dialogue more than once because of how good it was. The ending leaves you wanting more.

The only criticism I might have is that a lot of the skills and crafting aren’t very intuitive and I had to learn as I went. However, I feel that is true to the type of story being told.

Love it but...

The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because I keep trying to purchase endless mode and the game won’t let me. It says it’s confirming the purchase and then returns to the main menu. Regardless, this game is pretty wonderful and I like that it brings awareness to a little of what refugees may go through and (lightly) addresses racism and xenophobia. At the same time, they do a good job of representing European xenophobia and the people that it tends to come from, and you must battle these people as well. I’d love to see them add on to this game with more levels or by continuing the search for his daughter, whether this would mean major updates or even a sequel.

Long story short, this game is definitely worth playing and you can get a TON of play time out of it. I just want them to take my $1.99 so I can get the endless version of the game and the extra content!
