I was posting on TikTok for six months before landing my first paid opportunity through Home From College, and honestly, my life skyrocketed after that. One opportunity turned into another. I went from working 40 hours a week in a warehouse coming home exhausted and losing sleep while chasing a big dream to now doing social media full-time and working with amazing brands.I’m incredibly grateful I found this platform and for the impact it’s had on my life. It’s made me feel valued, helped my work grow, and pushed me to gain real experience. Most importantly, it’s helped me evolve so much as a creator and as an early professional.

I love how easy it is to apply to gigs and how straightforward the process is (even though I haven’t been selected yet 💔). However one suggestion I’d like to make is for the deadline to apply to be clear. Right now it seems like the days shown on the gig could either be the deadline or the expected number of days the gig would last. Either way I would like the deadline and the expected days to be written clearly with headings. ALSO for brands that ask the same questions for each of their separate gigs it would be really useful if you could select multiple of their gigs and apply all at once. That would save so much time and make the process less redundant because right now it’s really time consuming!

The Home From College app has genuinely changed my entire semester. I’ve been able to work with seven different companies through HFC alone, which has opened doors I never imagined as a student and content creator. The platform is so easy to use, beautifully designed, and gives real opportunities!! This app makes navigating gigs, building experience, and connecting with brands so much easier.If you’re a student, creator, or someone trying to build your portfolio, this app is a must. So grateful for HFC and everything they’ve built! 🙌✨

if you didn’t like the glitchy website interface, the gomr from college app is amazing. New to home to college? It’s an amazing app build for students to do gigs to learn new skills between reviewing, ugc content, marketing, and much more! they have a ton of options and gigs to do remote and in person and work on your time. it’s super easy to do and the more gigs you do, the easier to accepted to new ones in the future. i truly love this app and have recommended to many friends and family
