This app makes landscape design easy and affordable for anyone with a yard.
Choose from a library of expertly designed 3D gardens or create your own designs with 3D trees, shrubs, perennials, and more. Home Outside’s plant library features varieties curated for your hardiness zone and commonly available in nurseries and online.
See useful information about the plants, and view your selected plants and gardens to scale in your yard with augmented reality (AR). You can walk around and see your design from all angles, then move and rotate the elements to get everything just right. Save your design and get a plant list.
***For best results, this app supports devices with at least 4 GB RAM and iOS 16.0 and later. Requires account sign-in with Apple or Google account. Designed for use in landscape orientation with a high-speed internet connection.***
***At this time, the plant library includes plants and collections for US Hardiness Zones 5-9. Plant models and growing zones will be added frequently.***

Too many in app purchases required
I would like a refund because it seems that even though I paid to “unlock “ some designs, it’s now asking for additional money to view them. After only using the app for ten minutes, This has disappointed me and I no longer wish to use this app. Please advise. Thank you.

Disappointed!
I am deeply disappointed with my experience using this app. While I initially viewed the $7.99 price tag as a reasonable investment, the service provided has been far from acceptable. The app consistently fails to perform basic functions, such as uploading pictures and creating designs. I encountered frequent freezes and improper loading, rendering the app virtually unusable.
It is crucial for app developers to provide a clear and accurate representation of what users are paying for. Instead, I feel misled and frustrated, as the app did not meet even the most fundamental expectations. I am left feeling as though I was deceived and robbed, which is both upsetting and unfair.
Given my experience, I do not recommend this app to anyone. It appears that the company is more interested in taking your money without delivering a functional product. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this app entirely.
I’m amazed
This is the landscape app I’ve been waiting for!! I am moving into a new house, and the yard is a blank slate. With this app, I stood in the yard and tried placing different trees and gardens to see how they’ll actually look. I couldn’t decide which native tree or shrub to put in the front yard, and with the AR tool I can see that a serviceberry looks perfect with my house. I also placed a lot of really beautiful garden beds (I don’t want much lawn.) It shows only plants for my zone, so I don’t have to wade through choices that won’t work for me. There aren’t a ton of plants yet, but since they’re going to keep adding more, I’m very happy to get it at this price.
