HomeControl Flex delivers total security system awareness, anywhere, anytime. With the latest app update, you can now add home automation with Telguard’s FlexHub Z-Wave Controller and voice control via Amazon Alexa. These new features are in addition to the existing IFTTT integration that already connected panel arming and disarming to hundreds of popular IoT products and services.
Note: This app requires a compatible system and a HomeControl Flex service plan from your professional security provider. Feature availability varies based on system, equipment, and service plan. Arm Away only supported on Interlogix Simon alarm panels connected via a Telguard TG-SCI and on Go!Control security panels.
HomeControl Flex now supports fingerprint and face biometric login.

Ratings and Reviews
The app is easy to use❗️ The function of the app is not aligned correctly with our security system. I usually just set the security system before I walk out of the house! (Which is not always convenient)
We NEED 2 options on the APP... An away mode and a stay mode.... just because I’m leaving doesn’t mean everyone in the house is! Sometimes the app will show an away/stay mode, but the stay mode vanishes and your never able to use it❗️❗️❗️
Lastly, I agree with a previous statement having a finger setting to log in... I do NOT leave the app signed in that makes NO sense if someone gets a hold of my phone then they can see my information so for security purposes to have a finger print log in would make more sense!!!
Nice app… for 2014
UPDATE: They added TouchID/FaceID so that’s cool. Three stars now.
This app is great, if it were still 2014. As it is, it works okay at best. I’m glad for the convenience of arming and disarming the system outside the house. However, there are a number of issues.
*No TouchID/FaceID. I’m grateful that I don’t have to reenter in login info but the app would be much more secure with this instead.* Updated October 2018 *
Notifications. Instead of getting notifications *from the app*, you can get text messages notifying you when the system is armed, disarmed, or triggered. Even worse, each one comes from a different number. So your Messages clutters up with a jillion different “contacts,” a new “contact” every time someone does something with your system. This is so annoying that I have turned it off. A modern app would simply send you a notification.
It needs an Apple Watch app. When I go out, I don’t always take my iPhone with me, especially for workouts. There isn’t a good reason to not be able to arm/disarm my system with my Apple Watch.
Slowness/syncing. There are other reviews that address this. I have seen times when I’ve armed or disarmed the system but the app took a while longer to show it. Perhaps this is not a problem with the app itself, but communication through the system. Still, it’s frustrating to launch the app and have it be out of sync with the system until I relaunch it or switch tabs.
Works great with even Tmobile connections
This application is very light weight and works great with my Honeywell security system. Using advanced programming I found out from technician that it needs an extra jumper cable from the telguard communication device all the way to the Honeywell panel if one has a Tmobile or Verizon mobile connection. Without the jumper cable connecting both devices that arming from the wall Keypad will not be communicated back to the iOS application. If you have any other mobile connection then this jumper cable is not needed. Lot of people may not know this requirement and hence I am posting this review for your benefit. Talk to your technician about this cable if you have a Tmobile or Verizon connection and your app doesn’t update to red lock after arming from keypad on the wall. The app works perfectly as designed.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
