--Is there a feature overview?--
Yes! Please visit our website to learn more about the main features. However, we think it's best if you just test it directly with your system and try out the features yourself. You can read more about licensing below.
--Are there any requirements?--
Starting with Homemanager 3 we support all Homebridge systems which use the Homebridge UI with V4.29.0 or newer and all HOOBS systems with V3.2.10 or newer. It doesn't matter anymore on which platform you have Homebridge or HOOBS installed.
Due to the close collaboration with the Homebridge team, new features or API changes will be implemented on time. The only thing you need to do is simply updating the app, we'll take care of the rest.
--What is Homebridge / HOOBS?--
Homebridge is an open source software written by a large community to provide HomeKit support for almost all smart devices on the market. Homebridge works as a bridge between your physical smart home devices and HomeKit. Once set up, you can control your non-certified HomeKit devices in any HomeKit app and with Siri.
HOOBS is an alternative to Homebridge, developed by "HOOBS Inc." whose focus is on hardware out-of-the-box solutions.
If you don't have a server running yet, you can find more information and interactive instructions right in the app.
--Does the app cost?--
Yes. Due to the large maintenance effort, support and new features being added all the time, we are unable to offer the app for free.
To get to know the app better, you can test everything 14 days free of charge, without any payment or in-app purchase.
After this time you can decide if you like what you have tested and have two licenses to choose from.
Licenses are lifetime, localized prices for your country can be viewed right here in the AppStore in the in-app purchases section.
--Is there a way to contribute?--
Yes, as we target a community-oriented concept, feedback and feature requests are always welcome. If you would like to help us with localizing the app into your native language or with beta testing, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Ratings and Reviews
Great management app
I really enjoy using this app, allowing me to quickly manage my HOOBS server from my iPhone or iPad without having to use the web. The interface makes it user friendly. I have one suggestion though - when you are managing devices, and make changes, there should be a save or upload button on that screen. Instead you have to click the ‘back’ button, tap the three dots and tap ‘upload’. This was the only counterintuitive thing I encountered. Otherwise, a must have!
Edit - thanks for taking the time to respond! Happy to hear you guys are making improvements! Looking forward to receiving updates
Developer Response ,
thanks a lot for your review.
In our next major release - Homemanager 3 - we have a new optimized configuration page with many new features and a lot of improvements. One of the improvements is an always persistent and directly accessible Upload button ;) The update will be available later this year.

This app is a “smart home” game changer. My family really likes Apple. I’d looked into HomeKit but felt the supported devices were limited, expensive and sometimes just not the best choices. I like having IoT devices and had everything already set up in SmartThings, Alexa and Google Home. I just felt like we were too far down the path to switch over to Apple Home.
I’d read about Homebridge, but it was a little deeper into the smart home pool than I was ready to dive at that point. Then I came across the HOOBS subreddit from the Homebridge subreddit I’d been on reading and eventually found Homemanager. WOW.
In my opinion the Homemanager app and HOOBS make adding unsupported HomeKit devices on par with adding devices in Alexa or Google Home. Especially with the Import Config feature in Homemanager. The app is so well designed and makes updating the configuration file for Homebridge really easy. You don’t have to worry about syntax with brackets and commas. It imports the sample config into a GUI form for you to simply enter parameters. Trust me, if I can do this, anyone can do it.
I don’t write a lot of reviews, but felt compelled to add one for Homemanager. It’s my favorite app by far!
Developer Response ,
thanks a lot for writing a review.
It is great to hear that you like our app and especially our simple Config import feature and generic visual editor.
We have a lot new things planed for summer 2020. Stay tuned.
Lacking HomeBridge on Linux
I would give it 5 stars but it does have two glitches that need to be fixed. It crashes every now and again. Also you can’t change the port. It forces you to use a 2 in your port number.
Developer Response ,
Homemanager 3 is now available for beta testing. Reach us out via mail to receive a TestFlight invitation. HM3 should fix your problems with the app.
Thanks for your feedback.
Luckily I am already able to tell you that all of that is fixed and much more optimized in the next major version - Homemanager 3 - coming soon later this year.
