The HomeServe App allows you to be your own handyman with access to user manuals, warranty information, replacement parts, and how-to videos for products and systems in and around your home.

You can also receive recall notices and maintenance reminders. Simply take a picture of the appliance or product label. The HomeServe App will store it and load all the important product info so you can have everything in one place. It’s your no-cost, home problem-solving tool.

Plus, if you currently have a plan from HomeServe, you now have access to your HomeServe account directly from the App.

Version 1.7.2

In this release, we made some improvements and fixed a few issues:
• Pull to Refresh: simply pull down the top of the screen to refresh your data
• Item Details: if content is available (Parts & Accessories, Manuals & Guides, How-To Videos), those sections are automatically expanded so you can easily see everything. If content is not immediately available, the section will be minimized. You can expand these areas any time to request more content!
• User Uploaded Images & Videos: optimized quality and display
• Date selector issue resolved when snoozing a task
• Button overlap adjusted for some devices

Non functioning app

The app looks promising when I signed up initially. I created the account and I then added several items. Most of the items immediately shows the manuals, replacement parts and etc. 2 items was pending which is not a problem since the app is reading the photo taken from the label. Not all labels are not created equal...I guess. I logged in a few time then everything went downhill from here.
I am using a password manager to login so every time it should fill in the same information. Spelling should not be a factor since I had logged into the app several times. I now can’t login to the app anymore. After a few tries, it says that my account is locked. So I follow the instructions to unlock the app. It asks to enter my email address and I keyed it in and it responded that I don’t have permission to do that. I tried to email their tech support but I never got any replies. I wish I can enter 0 stars. Since an app is useless if I can’t do anything with it except taking space on my phone. I will delete the app.

Where are my service plans

Wow this app makes me want to throw something. I have no clue how to find my service plans. This app is lost in translation. Whoever developed this should be let go immediately. I have read the instructions from other reviews and still can’t figure it out. This app reminds me of a robo call where I keep selecting options trying to speak with someone only to be given more options to select, this is the Black hole of apps. I feel this app was created by Marty Mcfly in 1988 for people that have no clue what apps are. I hope you didn’t pay for a developer for this. If so, time to get a professional and never use Craigslist again for app dev.

Thank you for your review. The app is a newer offering and not all features are fully integrated yet but your plans from HomeServe can be synced. Part of our future plans is to support all features and functions in the app. You can view your plans through the app by tapping on My Account on the Home Screen. If you have an existing homeserve.com account, please click the blue register button and use the same email and password to sign in and sync your plans. If it is your first time using the online portal (homeserve.com), you will need to register using your email address or service agreement number from your plans. Once synced, you will not need to do this step again. Please send us a note at support@homeserveapp.com if you are having trouble or have additional questions or feedback.

Cannot set up

This app is terrible. I am trying to sign up for the first time but I have to go to a website to do this. The only problem is that the app tells me that cookies are blocked. I disabled blocking cookies and I still get an error. This seems pretty shady and insecure. I went in and cleared my browser and removed my website data, but it still fails. When I tried again, the website data showed 4 entries, three of which were not homeserv sites. I still cannot get logged into the app or even set up my account.
