Great newspaper, awful UI
The UI makes the app almost impossible to navigate, with huge load times, only forward/back/reload navigation instead of menus. Not worth downloading at all, just read through your browser.
Great newspaper, great app update
This excellent independent news source once had a great app, but for a long time failed to update it and the app became non-functional. This is the reason for many poor reviews. I am very happy to see this new app update; HKFP app is once again a reliable and trusted source of news in a rapidly evolving city-state.
Fine app, quality journalism
The app works fine now. The quality of the journalism is some of the finest in the city and, quite likely, the region, which is a lot to say considering the current state of affairs.
