Some bugs still, reboot after install. Good customer service.
Had issues after receiving my device but despite not many contact channels, they tracked me down over Kickstarter and were bending over backwards to get me fixed.
Luckily after another troubleshoot run, I rebooted my 6s again and the app started working finally. Something was keeping the app from recognizing my device. Worked fine for other purposes.
So if you have any issues, hard reboot a time or two to save some headache time.

Thanks for taking the time to speak with us and help resolve your issue Deightine!
Okay so first of all, I reeeeeally wanted to try the headphones, but can't afford them. Would have loved the opportunity to beta test. That being said however, I decided I would download the app anyway, as you mentioned it could be used with the regular mic. I am using the most recent version of IOS, and am also using Voiceover, as I am totally blind. Anyway, I keep getting stuck on the screen where I am asked to give my email and phone number. I'm using a bluetooth keyboard, but have tried without the keyboard. All I'm coming across are the email and phone number edit fields. I tried entering in my email, but was unable to get to anything else. I'm stuck with those two things. I tried turning off my ipad, and then turning it back on. No luck. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. No luck. Maybe the newest version of IOS isn't working with this? Who knows. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this will be fixed. Thanks to any who take the time to read this review.

As a blind user, you are able to swipe to focus on each element of the sign on screen. We have thousands of blind customers using the app with no issue, so if you are still having trouble please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to walk you through the steps!
Not ready for prime time
One year wait for an update which fixed nothing vital too its use. The app has an interface that is needlessly barren of info and is counter-intuitive. Fader down is louder while fader up is quieter (as an example.)
Your explanation of why the levels work this way makes sense IF it also makes sense to break with nearly 100 years of collective experience and especially muscle memory. Not to mention being the only piece of audio-anything I have ever owned in nearly 40 years which operates this way. There are accepted conventions for showing headroom vs volume/record levels which don’t require the user to change paradigms and you abandoned every one of them. I suggest adding a “natural/reverse” accessibility control, like offered with trackpad scrolling in OSes.
Mics cannot handle common moderately loud environments, such as rumble from a slow moving car interior. Bluetooth loses connection frequently and cannot be relied upon. It's probably okay for the occasional home video but it's too cumbersome and infective for my artistic endeavors, sadly.
I stand by everything I originally wrote. I’m sure they work great for relatively quiet sources (and no surprises of volume level) and where there’s time and facility to edit away all the dropouts and Bluetooth-glitch-sounding noises. (Using with an iPhone 11 Pro Max, FWIW)

Hey Goofaman, the faders are designed intentionally to provide a visual cue to users notifying them when the sound will clip. If the sound is surpassing the volume meter indicators (lollipops) then your resulting recording will be distorted. You need to give the app more room to breathe by bringing the faders up to reduce clipping, hence up :-) Also, you say the app interface is needlessly barren of info? Perhaps you could tell us what it's missing? With the new update you have the following pro control. Feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com so we can help you.
