Do you think you can add sorting/filtering for “hard to find” “auto show” etc. maybe the rarities? Great app tho!

Great app needs work

Really great idea for an app and I’m glad it exists, but if I have the app open my phone slows to a snails pace so I have to close it if I want to respond to a text and re open it which isn’t major but if that wasn’t a problem this app would be nearly perfect. Also if the manufacturers tab had links to the individual cars that would be cool. And an icon to show which cars we’ve favorited when searching, without having to click on each individual at to find out if it’s favorited would be helpful

Something in background?!?

Pretty sure this app is doing something on the background. Every time I open it, my phone gets slower and starts getting hot to the point it takes like 15 seconds to do something until I hard close it.

The info on the cars is top notch, but something is happening in the background for sure.

It's not true, there is no any background task.

When you open the app, it loads car data from the database and checks online for updates. If new data is available, it downloads the latest information and stores it locally. Additionally, all car images are downloaded from the internet, but once they are downloaded, they are cached locally to improve loading times and enhance the user experience.

Regarding the issue of your device heating up and slowing down, we are unable to determine the exact cause. During our tests, we did not encounter this problem, nor have we received similar reports from other users. However, device performance can be affected by various factors, such as other apps running in the background, storage conditions, or system resource usage. If the issue persists, you may try clearing the cache, restarting your device, or checking if any other apps are consuming excessive resources in the background. We will continue to monitor this issue, and if we receive more reports, we will investigate further.
