Hot 97
In my limited use the Hot 97 application is useful but is in need of much improvement. The app while easy to navigate could use an overhaul to the plain dreary dark background. One big problem is how sluggish the app seems to be when loading content. I think the app could also be used as a time portal to young listeners today when the radio station was at its peak in the 90’s and early 2000’s. An archive section with classic interviews and personalities from the past such as Funkmaster Flex, Angie Martinez and Star and Buc Wild could be nostalgic to those who are my age and grew up with the station and entertaining to those who did not.
Easy to use, great interviews and content
As a less experienced hip-hop and rap listener outside of New York, this is great. Fantastic interviews, live streaming is reliable and sounds good, always new content. Recommended!
Buggy and hard to connect with Bluetooth speakers
Not sure what’s up with this app but it likes to disconnect from my Bluetooth speakers after 5-8 minutes of play. This doesn’t happen with any other music app I have. Because of it I went from a daily listener to a almost never listener.
