A fun series

Just finished playing all 4 in the series of House of 1000 Doors. I think each one got better and better. They were all fun, beautiful scenery, fun mini games with some having a twist that had me set back a few to figure it out. The story lines are top notch with the main character (Kate) trying to figure out what was going on. I think I had as many questions as she did! The Object Find scenes were quite different from the usual which made them all the more interesting as they also told part of the story if you paid attention. Kate apppears in all 4, but the last one introduced Lilly with her special gift. I liked that the end left room for one more to the series. The last one House of 1000 Doors: Evil Inside was published about a year ago, so I’m hoping there will be a 5th soon.

I did crash a couple times and couldn’t even close out the game so I just shut down and restarted. No problem after that. I don’t think the crashes are really major and that type happens with almost any program. As long as I can restart with no problems, I’m fine with an occasional oops. I gave it 4 stars because of the occasional oops, but it could easily be 5 stars.

After a while, I will be paying the 4 game series again. Many hours and days of playtime that held my interest fer sure. BTW, I do not use hints or look up strategies or even walkthroughs as for me - they are spoilers - I’d rather take my time and figure it all out.

Yep, I got the same crash. Have written to the developer, who informs me that there will be no update or fix. So sad, because the game was a lot of fun to play up until that point.
