Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Great news, this version fixes all the echooooos on Houseparty Mac app.

Like the Concept, Don't like the execution

I like the idea of someone dropping in on my like I'm in a cafe and a friend walks in. The execution is desperately needing improvement. First, the app does not even alert you that someone is now watching and listening to you! You could be working on your computer for hours and not even notice this! Designers at this company completely failed the app in this respect, almost worth deleting this app because of this massive oversight. Second, every time you unlock you computer, the app automatically reversed your mute and video settings without alerting you so you are now broadcasting to the world without knowing. Again, a massive oversight. User settings should remain in place unless the user changes it. Third, every time you minimize the app it crashes. The designers and engineers are going to be overtaken by a more capable team at Google, Facebook, Apple, etc if they don't improve this app soon. The big tech companies are cashing in on this pandemic and smaller companies are going to be erased if their products are obviously inferior, although original.

We want more features for other devices!!

I really like this app, and I don't want to want to sound needy! I am, we all are! The features are great on a mobile device, I cant be the only one that wants to play games without looking up my friends noses. Watching their faces during the game is helpful now that we can"t socialize publicly. Smartphone devices are just too small! Give your fans some love! Give it! Or charge a small fee! those that are okay with the smartphone usage can still play, those of us that aren't fans of double chins and boogers want it!!! Please??!!

Better On My iPhone

Houseparty is helping to reinvent video chats with the ability to instantly join any individual or group who shows as being online. I do like this feature because it helps to engage conversation. The only wish list item I have for having this app on my MacBook Pro would be to have the ability to play games, just like I would on my iPhone. It can be often tiresome to hold my iPhone while engaging with my friends and family, and would simply love the full iPhone abilities on my MacBook.
