Ever have that point in the middle of your day where you wish you were watching a Twitch stream or gaming clips?

Hover is the snackable version of Twitch. It’s filled with the best 60 second streamer or gaming clips in the word. Our algorithm will try to match you with the perfect content and we make it easy for you to tune into a stream by showing you the creator is live and letting you click a button to jump right into their twitch stream.

For Content Creators, Hover is the platform that is built to help you get discovered, quicker! You can download your Twitch, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC clips on your phone. We give you the tools to edit your clip from horizontal to vertical, trimming, and download these to share them on the rest of your platforms. We take your content and match it to viewers that we want to jump into your stream, or drop you a follow on Twitch if you are offline.

What Are Clip Challenges?
3 nights per week on our Twitch Stream the top 16 clips submitted to a specific challenge appear live on our Twitch Stream at twitch.tv/hover. Every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday at 7PM eastern there is money up for grabs and it costs you ZERO to participate.

How does Hover Work?
For the first time ever, we allow twitch streamers, content creators, and gamers to take discoverability into their own hands. Connect your accounts and every time you upload a video our algorithm matches it with gamers, viewers, and followers that are most likely to tune into your stream or become new followers and viewers since they will enjoy the content you are posting.

-How can I get Twitch Followers and Viewers?-
Our Social Media Platform is the first to match videos created by streamers, gamers, and content creators to twitch viewers giving them ability to follow you directly on twitch, and show that you are live on stream

Wish I had heard of it sooner

I will say this first off, yes the app is in beta, there are still bugs, and small glitches. However, DONT LET THAT PUSH YOU AWAY! I am a participant of the app and the discord, and the response to issues and bugs popping up is almost instantaneous. they have the devs constantly working on the app, usually getting on top of issues instantly for the next update, and they are always looking for ways to fix the small issues that pop up.

Second of all, it is an awesome place to be. You can network, and interact with other streamers and gamers in an effort to grow your own content, or even help them as well. As a streamer, this has taken my outlook on my quality of content to a whole new level, and has also has inspired me to work on taking the bad situations and find the humor in them. I mean, what’s a nice clip of sniper headshots in CoD compare to being able to look back on Outriders and see me running in terror and swearing in fear. One I will always look back on and think how could that have been better, and the other I will always die laughing as I watch because of the memory made in that mission.

I 100% recommend this app. And will continue to do so.

Cool concept

This is still very buggy and videos dont load half the time. I think you guys should make it more obvious if you mute a video for dmca purposes. Make it easier to delete videos i saw the option for a second now i cant find it. Make it so you can post videos in the full screen format for the phone if you can upload through your media anyways. Other than that i did the concept and this is a really cool app

Hi There -

Be on the lookout for the next big update in the next few days. Everything that you mentioned is going to be taken care of :)

Good concept, needs some polish

1. When opening the app in horizontal mode on an iPad, there are no controls at the bottom of the screen for things like uploading, settings, etc. It must be used exclusively in portrait mode to be able to do anything other than view the live/discover/feed sections. Also, turning from portrait to landscape mode intermittently messes up the layout so that elements like videos are pushed off the side of the screen.

2. Trying to link a Twitch account shows that it involves giving Hover the ability to edit your follows. Why is this permission necessary to link an account? I thought linking an account would populate your feed with content from anyone you follow on Twitch who also uses Hover. But isn't /viewing/ who you follow a differently named permission, and the edit follows permission gives a third party app the ability to follow or unfollow users? I'm not sure I trust a relatively new/obscure app to not use that permission maliciously?

3. A toggle for autoplaying, or at least autoplaying audio, would be great.
