I love this App because it helps me feel less disconnected to what’s going on with the rest of the world. This is a scary time and I’m more worried about my kids and grandchildren than I am myself. I lived my life I am 64. My kids are worried about me going shopping for them. I’d rather it be me than them taking the risk. When I surprise them with food I get yelled at lol. I do that because I know they won’t ask me for anything. I wear a mask and gloves and follow all the rules. I am a retired nurse, I’ve taken care of HIV patients and I know if precautions are taken I can keep myself and others safe. I am wondering though if I was exposed to Covid 19 because my husband and I were in NYC February 12,13&14 and I did get sick with a GI bout of diarrhea after eating at Sardi’s one hour later attending the play, To Kill a Mockingbird I felt sweaty, nauseous and spent the next 24 hours in the bathroom in the hotel Ritz Carlton-central park south location. We traveled by train from Lancaster to NYC and walked through Penn station and took the subway to the hotel. I’m just wondering about this. If We all had this app during this trip would it have made a difference?
I’ve sent my family this app and they like it.
I think this app is how we can stay connected In the world to each other’s movements. I don’t fear being tracked. It’s what we do to help each other survive. To keep each other safe. We are all connected on this earth we need each other.

Well For Now ,

I think the information you are collecting will be extremely useful in the days to come. I don’t know when the vaccine will be available for the public; it can’t come soon enough! I can say that many Americans are going to feel mighty guilty when they realize by not social distancing and not wearing masks, they inadvertently brought Covid19 to their families and compromised their friends, elders and others. Or, these same people will get it themselves, and like the prime minister in England, be mighty sorry they poked fun and did not take this seriously. My husband is on Hospice, both of us are compromised. Thank you so very much for researching our habits. I go to the grocery and went to buy dirt for the garden, but other than that, we stay at home. It’s miserable to live this way, but I am more than willing to stay home! I feel incensed to see people on tv stating if they get it, they get it, and will get over it! Really?! People are anxious to work and to get normalcy, yet I fear the statistics are going to show we have made a fatal choice. Please keep up the good work! I look forward to my daily check in!
Sincerely Yours,

Why are stats not getting fixed?

I gave the app four stars because it’s an important, interesting project that is potentially valuable. I am willing to put my information in and hope that others do, too. However, as an app that provides updated information on local stats, they’re not doing a very good job. Almost exactly six weeks ago, I used the feedback address in the app to report a problem with the state-level statistics that are shown for my state. (I hope the same problem isn’t happening in all states!) It should be an easy error to fix, as it simply shows the number of tests as the number of ICU beds in use, but the number reported will be alarming to anyone who doesn’t realize it’s incorrect. Because the number reported is the same as the number of daily tests, it’s clearly a small coding error. I reported it again about three weeks ago and then today for the third time. We’ve had a couple of new versions during that period. Why hasn’t this been fixed? Given the high powered group of scientists and developers involved, why haven’t they noticed or cared that the app is spreading some pretty alarming disinformation? (And why have a feedback address if feedback isn’t acted on?)
