Great app so far, by far the quickest.

Great app so far—no issues and free to use! It’s been fantastic during Helene and Milton. For a free app, you really can’t beat it. I like the images a lot and the quick switching between storms. Someone mentioned that the category wasn’t there, but it appears when the storm is a hurricane; tropical storms don’t have category assignments. Anyhow, it works great for us, especially for a version 1.x, keep up the great progress.

Don't like the scam ,

Doesn’t tell the category of storm

It would be a good app but it doesn’t let you know what category the storm is at certain places. Additionally if you click on one storm, all other storms disappear. You have to reset the app to make those storm show back up.

I honestly had to go back to my basic hurricane app.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry the app didn’t meet your expectations.

I’m not sure why you said scam as the app is currently free and has no ads. That said, storm categories were added in version 1.1.32. When you click on a hurricane (Red Storm Icon), it will display the category (Cat 1–5).

When multiple storms appear on the map and you select one, the other storms don’t disappear—they just become unhighlighted to avoid confusion if paths overlap and to keep the storm in focus. To view the unhighlighted storms, simply click the storm name at the top.

I appreciate your feedback and will make it optional to keep all storm icons visible in a future update for those that want this. I hope this improves your experience!
