Update: I just figured out in the app how I can change the setpoint triggers for the weather shut off. Seeing how much can be customized in this app makes me realize how nice it really is. pretty cool app and overall very functional. 5 stars

Just installed this system and first time using it. Overall decent but why is the cutoff temperature for suspending watering set at forecasting below 68 degrees Fahrenheit? Where I live, it can be 60 at night and 90 during the day and NEED water. This suspends watering when it’s still way above freezing. The cutoff temperature should be the same as freeze sensors right around 38 degrees. Please update this.

The Suspend watering trigger is based on the forecast Maximum temperature of the day not the minimum.

Cannot get "water more often when hot" to work

I've followed the instructions to the letter, but I see no "Watering Type" after adding a new start time. So I can't set "Low priority watering time." This morning I added a second start time for 6 pm and it worked today. But I cannot find any way to make 6 pm low priority so it will only run on hot days. The lack of phone support for a VERY EXPENSIVE controller is ridiculous. You should be ashamed. I had a grow-in program in the old app on my "Lawn Front" program. It expired over a year ago. So I thought all would be well when I upgraded to the new app. Somehow "grow-in" got resurrected in the new app and, since it had expired, my lawn zones were not running. My wife had to start zones manually! I did trouble-shooting today and found the phantom grow-in program. I deleted it and it appears to have gotten the controller Lawn Front program working. I'll see if watering starts tomorrow at 5:30 am. How can you emphasize Water Savings but not provide a baseline for the comparison? Is it same week last year? This week vs last week? This YTD vs YTD a year ago? Your designer understands NOTHING about data! Pathetic.

Lacks a key feature. App design is poor.

There is no way to have certain zones run at certain times in a program. This is a major, major omission on Hunter’s part. When you create a program and choose which zones to run and their watering durations, these will apply to all of the start times you choose for the program. There is no further customization of individual zones within that program.

For example:

If you want only zone XYZ to run a couple extra times during the day, you have to create another program for these. Same thing if you want zone XYZ to run for different durations during the day - 20 minutes at noon, but 10 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening. You’d need to create two, possibly three new programs for these waterings.

Oddly enough, the non-WiFi Pro-C controller with the analog dial worked exactly the same way, so it appears as though Hunter just took the same functionality and made it digital and WiFi compatible. And now it can react to the weather - which is helpful.

Also, the layout of the app - while reasonably easy to use - is pretty poor. Way too many button presses to operate a zone or activate the program. I guess they designed it for you to set the watering schedule and never interact with the app again.
