Today I heard back from the developer of this app and he walked me through several methods to assist with viewing my affirmation titles and playing music in the background of the app until changes are made to solve the issues. Apple updates and releases along with COVID issues have limited some support functions and caused delays in response and fixes. The Good news is I can now view my affirmations as well as play music in the background which is literally why I bought the app in the first place. Looking forward to future developments and updates! Thank you so much for reaching out. Removed one star because I need to be able to independently control volume on various sources and for now these are workarounds and not necessarily fixes but the potential for this app is awesome!!***************************************************PAID VERSION

Sorry for the experience you are having. We have a delay in response do you covid. The blank affirmations most be because you may have “dark mode” enabled. Turn OFF dark mode and you should be able to see your affirmations again. Regarding the background music, do they play music at all? Make sure your songs from iTunes are downloaded to your device and not in the cloud. Go to your iTunes music app and select the song and make sure you tap on the cloud icon to download the song. Then this song should play on the app. Hope this helps!

I love this app, I just started using it yesterday. I use affirmations for mental health, to keep my mind on good & pleasant things. The free version gives you 6 one-minute recordings for affirmations which equals a total of 6 minutes of affirmations. I was able to cram about 36 affirmations into those 6 mins. I use the echo setting and they offer 3 free brainwave settings. You can add 1 picture with the free version and the affirmations automatically play on repeat. You can add music but you can’t control the volume so you can’t hear your affirmations over the music. I had rainforest sounds playing in the background when I recorded my affirmations. When you leave the app, the affirmations continue to play. They are playing as I’m writing this review and it has a sleep timer. You can get more goodies if you subscribe to a monthly fee around $3.99 a month which isn’t bad for such a good app but I’m not looking for monthly fees, I’d rather pay a one-time fee. Also, I put the word “Why” in front of my “I am” affirmations because my brain seems to accept a question more than an outright lie. Mouth: Why am I so beautiful? Brain: I don’t know, I don’t have an answer, I can’t reject this, it goes to my consciousness to be observed.

You will definitely want to upgrade to get access to all the features but even just doing one affirmation or mantra with the free app could be quite beneficial. I did start with the lite version and then ended up buying the pro version. The pro version allows me to record more affirmation categories. After reading the other reviews, it doesn’t seem like a scam to me. Seems like the creator is showing the value of each feature. I think it’s worth it to me to subscribe! I am able to now listen to all of categories in a loop! It’s GREAT for when I go to sleep. LOVE IT!!
