This update is much more fun than the original! I love the different shapes and the ability to flip them. That’s not to say that it’s easy - it gets progressively harder like the original. So far the pace of difficulty is manageable, but I’m sure that will change.

i adore these games and was so excited to see it coming to apple arcade. i have played i love hue too for years and enjoyed every moment of it so i hate to give such a negative review, but why are all the puzzles in each dream exactly the same? in other installments, the color gradients change between each symbol, providing the unique experiences, but in this one, they are all exactly the same. the puzzles are even repeated within the SAME symbol, meaning you play through several identical puzzles in one dream. maybe i am missing something but i am incredibly disappointed in this game, and it alone has ruined my enjoyment of a game series that has been very important to me for many years. if this is otherwise a replica of i love hue too, i don't understand why it does not have the same variety of puzzles. i understand the arcade edition is new, so i am giving the benefit of the doubt that this is a development error and not a deliberate move to lower the quality of the game. i implore the developers to reinstate the novelty that was found in other games :)

I thought I was losing it when I started I love hue too+ and the puzzles felt like they were repeating. I opened up my original I love hue too game and what I saw was wildly disappointing. The original had variations and no two puzzles were identical. The arcade version repeats puzzles 5-6 times each level. Not even a slight variation in shape or color. I don’t know why they would have made this game worse. At least I still have the original downloaded I guess.

I constantly go on game searches and I never find a thing I’ll keep but this I will play forever because I can go back and fix things and do better.
