App keeps closing out durino live view
For the past 3 weeks to 1 month, the app closes by itself while in live view..it was not doing this prior to the second-to-last update in November 2023. Please fix…this basically make the camera useless for our needs! And customer support does not respond/is of no help if not written in Chinese…
Can’t believe the quality
We purchased 3 different brand cameras to have a trial test and see which would work best and suit our needs. Then the plan is to load up on whichever was best. This camera is amazing but shut down after 3 months. It turned out to be a good thing because the customer service with this company is remarkable. They immediately replaced it, no questions asked and it was on our door step two days later. They have a text app on the camera settings that responds within a few hours and it’s proven to be extremely helpful. The complaints that I’ve read in other reviews were mostly solvable it just sounded like the person was impatient because these cameras are ridiculously easy to navigate. Before permanently screwing cameras in the place I intended to leave them I would keep them detached from the wall and easily accessible to go through settings and test them out first. Play around with the settings a little and don’t panic… you can always switch settings back. This camera exceeded our expectations by far and I can not believe how helpful and considerate their customer service is. We now have three on our property. Thank you so much
Don’t use or sign up for Cloud, install a micro SD card.
For those not able to pair the camera to your Wi-Fi, note that it will NOT pair to a 5G network. I setup 2nd 2.4G network on my T-mobile router and finally got camera to recognize it. As far as this app, do not signup or even use the Cloud, rather purchase a 64mg micro SD for $10 and format it with the app. Set app so it records movement, I use the low setting, not record continuously. I review the prior night recordings or current recorded events from the SD card. It can be set to follow and record the person and send a phone notification when setup with the free AI option. So far only used about 4% of SD memory after over a week of activity. I’m assuming when card is full I can reformat it again to erase the old data and start over. Play around with app settings to get familiar with the features. It does logout now and then but I’m back in with 3 quick taps, no big deal. I like it so far and the picture quality is excellent. Note, in order to speak through the camera you need to press and hold the microphone icon.
