Why make parents spend so much money

This app is such a waste of time because you can’t even play the game normally you have to spend money just so you can play this stupid game. If your gonna make a app for toddlers don’t make the parents spend their money, if you are then at least make some of the things free so if the toddlers parents don’t wanna spend money their child can still be able to play!

The worst customer service

We are overseas and in lockdown so knew my lo would appreciate some of his old Baby First friends and use the games to learn. I bought and paid for a year in January but could not get in. Took a bit for me to reach out bc no school, kid w me, overseas... but was told I had some old version so deleted, re-added many times and finally (wasting a mother’s time???😡). I requested a refund but on and on we finally got in. I was willing to see out the year for the familiarity as challenges duplicate the ABC Mouse and other services we use. Then...in May, I get an email saying my account has been terminated bc of a problem with my credit card! Biatches, I paid for the full (redundant, right?) year in January! I have since gotten no help I my requests to just refund me! I want my money back but will never forgive the grief they caused (hours of my time trying to do their job for them) a mother attempting to homeschool a needy, nearly 4yo, overseas, did I mention this? We have precious few resources and I need every tool I can use. Look out for the Harry the Bunny I shall return to you; he will not be well. Keep it knowing you are a failure!

Hello Laura.
Thank you for reaching out again, we understand technology can be very frustrating.
As we've previously explained in our email exchange on May 18, your access was not terminated at any point. Actually, following the apps updates In March 21, which we've been informing you about since January, in March you were given full access to both the new iCan app and the upgraded FIRST, which now includes all of the My First University content, for the price of just one subscription.
As we've mentioned, most recently in June 3, both of these subscriptions are still active and valid.
We have not heard back from you regarding your access issues since the query we sent you about that on May 19. If you are still experiencing such issues, we will be more than happy to try to help you resolve them. Please contact us via mobile-support@bf-tv.com.

And finally, as we've been explaining since May 19, due to COPPA compliance and app store restrictions, we unfortunately have literally no possible way to manage or handle purchases made through the app store, and you must contact Apple directly to request a refund.
We hope that it can all be sorted to your satisfaction. Have a nice day.

Thanks for the reviews

Sure am glad I read the reviews because I was tempted to download after watching the commercial on TV. So far, everyone is correct in saying the commercial does not mention a subscription will be required. I also noticed that when the App people responded, they never addressed this “error of omission on their part “. Instead they avoided that complaint completely and spoke of how they used the subscriptions to pay for further development of their app....obviously avoiding addressing the original problem. I have lost respect for Baby First since they condone this app. I thought they were better than the others. Mind you, this tactic of sucking people into recurring subscriptions that they can never seem to get out of is quite common, albeit despicable and this company is no exception. ABC Mouse has earned this reputation as well. Users beware and READ THOSE REVIEWS!!

Developer Response ,

Hello, thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate such valuable feedback, and take it into account as we make changes both in our app and our marketing.
I am happy to inform you that our advertisements are now worded better, so to make sure not to create any misunderstandings with our audience.
Also, the app now offers a free trial, allowing you to check and see if you are interested in the content before paying for it, and instructions about directly how to cancel a subscription are found in the app's FAQ (in Support).
We understand that paying for content can be frustrating, but we will continue to use all available resources to improve our content and services, and to provide you with the very best content, ads free, for a competitive price in the realms of children content.
