This is the perfect Dad's app for Ice Hockey Entertainment music management and playlist. Play Pump up Songs, Face Off, and Crowd Power Up to cheer up for your team.
24 songs included in this version of the app. These songs by Audionautix and Kevin MacLeod are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution license. The 36 buttons of the app can be reprogrammed with any of your own songs from your iTunes library. (Horns, Organs, ...).
12 suggested links to iTunes titles which will pump up your kid's team.
Every button is customizable and can be set to point to the songs you own in your iTunes Library. You can purchase more screens if you want, up to 15 extra screens giving you a total of 216 customizable buttons.
The "Horn" and "1min Left in the game" buttons are also customizable, and now you can recall the previous song after playing a goal announcement.
Via InApp purchase, you can record your own voice for quick announcements and set on the "1min Left Button" (or on any other buttons).
With additional inApp purchases, you can play announcements for Penalties, by selecting : The voice, the player, the team, the time and type of penalty. Then you just need to press the ready and play button. With version 5.0 and above, you can also record player roster names. This will be played on demand when you announce penalties. You can even use it to record your own announcements and play them on the rink speakers as you would play any songs from the app.
Disclaimer : Copyrighted songs (120 suggested) are not included in the Apps. This latest version will let you use your iTunes Cloud Music Subscription to select your songs.
Following a user feedback, I have added the 1min penalty option for the younger players.

I have been using another app for the last few years, but unfortunately, it has not been updated in awhile and stopped working recently. I just downloaded this one and set up the playlists. One thing I’d like to see is dedicated buttons for goal horns and other sound effects that always show at the top of the screen. That way, I don’t have to use a dedicated button in each period for the horn. I know you can switch periods pretty easily, but it would be easier if it was just on the screen all the time.

Hello, this is an interesting suggestion, I will see how I can fit that on the screen. Did you see that you can customize the “One-Minute-Left” button and assign a horn sound? This is the button just left of the play button. This button is the same on all screens. This is in fact how I ended up setting up my screen for my son’s games :-)
A good start to what could be something really special
I bought this today for my daughters first game of the season. Navigating the app and uploading the music were easy enough and it got good reviews from the audience at the game.
That said this could be so much better:
-There’s a built in goal horn which is nice for the home team. However if I just started playing a song and paused it, the place where the song was paused is completely lost if you want to use the goal horn and then go back to the paused song.
-Second, there’s an add-on for announcing penalties which is great because our rink does not have a microphone. However, there’s nothing like this for the goals! Parents always complain they don’t know if their kid was involved in a scoring play or not and it seems like it would be so easy to use a similar method available for penalties for the goals to announce the goal scorer and assists.
-3rd, you can edit a song’s start point, but not the end point. Would like to be able to cut both ends as needed.
I hope these 2 improvements are coming in the next update as this looks like it could be a great app for parent djs to do music for their kids games.

(Update Nov 8) - I have released a new version with the Horn recall last song feature. Let me know if that answer your need.
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I should be able to implement them in a future version.
For the goal announcement you can do that with the Microphone option. This will let you record your sentence and play it back, therefore announcing goals.
Spent hours clipping song only to have none save after closing and opening the app
Very disappointed. Spent a couple hours Clipping songs, So many that I purchased another 4 periods. About a half hour later, I went back in the app only to find that none of the clips had saved. All songs converted back to the beginning. Prior to purchasing this app I saw the same complaint but the developer responded saying it was updated to 5.0.3 and to try again. I assumed the issue was fixed. Now it is version 5.0.4 and I have the same problem. I have sent $8 on the app plus additional periods and this will do me no good. Please fix.

Update Jan 20 - version 5.1.0 has been released. Please update and let me know if that fix the problem. I have introduced a 0.5second delay when you select a song and it's start time adjustment. It seems to help.
Jan 11 - Arrrg, the bug is still there? I was using the app this weekend again for my son's game and I can't reproduce this issue. Can you tell me if you are using iTunes cloud songs or local mp3? What I noticed this weekend is that for some button (set iTunes cloud songs) I had to press twice the button for the start time to be positoned correctly. Please email me directly. I would like to understand more and fix the issue definitively then. I found another bug this weekend with the horn. In some conditions (not yet 100% certain) once I played a horn and select a new song rather than resume the previous song, when I start playing it will not be the right song - this is quite annoying as I played a goal song instead of another game action). One other question, when you cropped your songs and positioned the start did you make sure that you set the song on step 4 of the setup after correctly positioning the song? It is when you set the tile that the song and the current position is memorized. It is saved in the same variable, so losing the start time and not the song reference is strange.
