iCheckBook2 is designed for anyone who wants to keep a close eye on their finances. Typical banking websites can delay posting your transactions, making it difficult to see your actual balance. With iCheckbook2, you can always know exactly what you have, and where its going.
Also, keeping your own records will allow you to see if someone has posted a fraudulent charge against your account or changed the price.
iCheckbook2 is a great app for keeping an eye on the cost of a trip or project as well. You will know exactly how much your spending.
Register - an advanced account register to support all your money management needs. Save receipts images against your transactions.

Easy to use
I used the first (free) version and loved it. When I got an iPhone 7, the checkbook didn’t make it to the new phone. I had to look around for alternates, none of which matched the simplicity of the iCheckbook. I was looking for alternatives to the checkbook I was using. I wasn’t happy with it. When I found out there was an iCheckbook2, I downloaded it immediately. It’s so user friendly and I am glad to see it updated and back in the App Store. I like the recurring transactions and the fact I can set up lots of accounts. It’s how I monitor what I’m spending on different things, and it’s helpful if you have a budget and are trying to save money. Anyway, I like it a lot. My issue is the spelling of recurs. The checkbook adds an ‘e’, (recures), just like the first one did. It drives me crazy. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Fix the spelling and I’ll give you 5 stars!

Oh my, how embarrassing thanks so much for pointing this out. Version 2.1 now says "Recurs".
Love the app but it’s broken
I have to say I absolutely love this app as I’m a fanatic over making sure my checkbook is balanced to the penny. I’ve been using the app for several years now. HOWEVER something has gone terribly wrong. I’ve had done transactions that I’ve had to delete and noticed when I deleted it, instead of adding the funds back to my balance it deleted from my balance. Due to removing multiple transactions due to my error, I have no clue how much j have as it won’t balance correctly now. 😞🤬😞
Long time user of version 1
I used the paid version, it wasn't much, it has been so long ago I have forgotten how much it was, but it was worth every penny of it. I like simplicity and this fit the bill perfectly. I had 4 separate accounts set up, 1 major one and three others to track various items. The URL given for importation seems to be case sensitive and checking the update box didn't seem to work that well, but the major everyday account crossed over fine. I just made some adjustments on a couple of the others. It really is a nice little program.
