Chip’N is an “Economy for Good” that provides individuals with opportunities to create change through technology.
As a national platform, the app is encouraging millennials to help build their communities by being active participants through volunteering. Help solve major impact issues related to Education, Environmental Justice, Economic Sustainability, and Food Access.
Our goal is to provide difference makers with access to over one million opportunities to create change.
So how do you use Chip'N? Users will begin by creating a profile. Then:
• Discover volunteer events
• Sign up for or create volunteer events
• View and share curated content
• Track volunteer impact through "Impact Analytics"

Chip'N now offers Chip'N Plus, an auto-renewable subscription service that unlocks exclusive features on the Chip'N platform. Users who are enrolled in Chip'N Plus will have access to exclusive items on the Chip'N marketplace and will have unrestricted volunteer event sign ups.
Chip'N Plus is a subscription to exclusive access and features on Chip'N. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at $5.99 per month for 1 month subscriptions or $4.99 per month for 6 month subscriptions. Manage your subscriptions in Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. Love the concept
I wish there were more opportunities available.
I also wish the day of the week was associated to the dates as most people don’t know that day a specific day falls on off the top of their head. I have to exit the app to open up my calendar.

Thank you for your feedback. We are looking to expand to other cities as soon as we can. Also, we will look to incorporate days of the week on the dates as part of our next update.

ive JUST downloaded the app and am now trying to register an account but app prompts me to DL latest version from app store 🙃 huh?
edit: i have a new problem with this app now...i finally did my volunteer activity & it went swell, but found out /after/ that i was supposed to have let this app track my location the whole time or else it didnt count!! there was an email sent from Chip’n about this THE DAY OF my volunteer event, in the morning, when i was already on my way there and i had no idea. (Why did they not send out an automated email with these deets days before, when i signed up??) Not to mention, none of the coordinators at my location had been briefed on if/how i was supposed to do something with the app once i got there either - i definitely asked. i have emailed Chip’n to seek resolution on this to no response...yet theyre asking me to change my rating in the app store, which i find to be a misaligning of priorities.

Hi,
You don't have to change your review. We send two automated emails with app instructions. One when you sign up for a volunteer activity and one the day of the event. It is also explained on our website and the the "in-app" FAQs that the app requires you to check in and check out to earn Chips. It seems you feel that none of this was sufficient. We will take this into consideration when we explore more ways to communicate that you must Check In and Check Out of the app to earn Chips. Few snags but overall GREAT app and concept
I had a few probs with the app, but customer support was super responsive and got my problems fixed in no time. This is a great concept and I look forward to using it for volunteer work in the future. This app is also a perfect example of how cryptocurrencies can be used in the future.
