Time saver
Does exactly what it says it does, for a Mac app. How about the ability to create an icon set for an iPhone / iPad app? I ended up purchasing "Icon Drop" which creates both Mac and iOS icons for the same price.
Wanted to save time and it worked perfectly - easy to understand.
Been working on an app but didn’t really want to get into all the icon stuff. Goggle searched and saw this app and compared to others and tried it. It was easy to use — I first tried to drag an png that was not the right size — it wants a 1024x1024 source and I created a single 1024x1024 png and then drag/drop into this app and it crerated everything I needed.
I then did a save and through I’d rename to my app name-appicon etc and this app warned me that if the name is not AppIcon then it will not work in Xcode. Ok, so I saved with the default name of AppIcon and then realized all I need to do is replace the AppIcon folder inside Xcode with this AppIcon folder that this app created.
Anyways, wrote this review quickly so hope it makes sense — just wanted others to know it works great.
