Did you ever get a call on your home phone and wonder if you should recognize the number? Perhaps you have someone who calls but never leaves a message, or aging parents who (still) don't get voicemail?
ID CallerID searches *your Contacts list* on your iPhone or iTouch with the phone number you enter and lists all matches or partial matches. Use each contact listed to go directly to a detail view where you can even call, email, or display a map directly from the application.

Works, but VERY slowly
Clunky. Have to enter numbers VERY slowly or else it gets confused and enters wrong numbers which are very hard to correct. Also, badly needs a 1-button clear because currently have to delete VERY slowly, 1 number at a time.
On the other hand, it is free and more or less works.
For a while after entering a number rapidly, I could not get the number cleared (even though the display showed the number cleared) and it showed "no matches" no matter what I did. I finally got out of that mode.
Worthless. App refuses to even load.
I may be old fashion. I once used a Palm Pilot M515 and it had a global phone search for all of my applications that were running on it. Recently, I had converted all of my phone contact information from my Palm Pilot to my new iPod Touch 4th Gen. I had complained to Apple that it was a shame that they didn't have a global phone number search like my lower tech Palm Pilot. Your software saved the day. I am one happy camper! I now can do a phone number contact search. However, it would be great if you had a global search for all applications that have saved phone numbers stored on the iPod. Thanks again for this software and it's free too!
