Editors’ Notes

This wonderfully crafted puzzler is the very opposite of a frantic shoot-’em-up. Immersed in a calm universe, you unfold geometric shapes and line up patterns of dots by sliding them along rods on their faces to unlock the next level. The game looks and sounds gorgeous, and don’t let the super-easy early levels fool you: later ones are sneaky!

I liked it, but...

The game was overall enjoyable. The graphics and art style were nice, puzzles were amazing, and music was great. But the controls aren't really meant for the screen of an iPhone. It seems like it was meant to be played on an iPad. You can complete the game using an iPhone - I did - but there are times where it's extremely challenging and you have to use multiple fingers or try to rotate the pieces - and rotating is the one I really didn't like about the game. Trying to rotate or spin the pieces on an iPhone, makes me want to throw my phone as hard as I can at the wall. But, putting aside all the control problems, I really did like the game and how it made me think.

Great Concept - Not Worth The Money

Right off the bat, I loved the concept and style of this game. The relaxing music was inviting and the game itself was beautiful. The simplistic mechanics and soothing geometry base were interesting and the game itself had potential. However, style isn't everything.

For this price, there is a shocking lack of puzzles. The small amount of puzzles were unbelievably easy, so much so that by the end of the game I was still expecting to get to "The Hard Part." Everything was impulsive and simple, I hardly was thinking as i slid the bars and poked the dots. The most difficult part was manipulating the actual elements of the puzzle while not rotating the entire object and vice versa. Puzzles are suppose to make you think, and I understand this was suppose to be a new perspective on the genre of puzzles and it was suppose to be "relaxing," but it cannot be labeled a puzzle if it requires little or no brain effort.

At the end, I closed this app feeling disappointed. I was ready for a simple challenge, but in this games attempt to be relaxing, it ended up being pointless. Nevertheless, I give it two stars because I see potential, I just wouldn't buy it yet.
