Great, but could use some things

I have had this app for a while now, and I really enjoy it! The community is very kind and this is an overall great app for animators who want a head start. However, there are a lot of glitches. I apologize to waste your time, as I’m sure you’ve heard this type of review a lot, but I may as well speak. The glitches often times don’t strike and are simply mediocre when it comes to damaging a project. However, a lot of them are irritating. For instance, if I were to press the undo button one too many times, it will delete the whole first layer, resulting in my lineart to be completely erased in every frame. Speaking of lineart, if I were to erase it completely on one frame, it will show up in the next, and on the frame I erased it from. On the lighter side, this app is excellent, and I really enjoy making art and animations on here. I think the creators did a spectacular job on making this app, and it would be interesting to see any future updates. I have one more suggestion. Would it be in any way possible to be able to download audio instead of recording it? I think it would be a lot easier so that I would not have to wake up family members if I needed to record at night. Other than that, I overall am enjoying my time on this app, and do highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start animating. Thank you for anyone who took the time to read this.

It’s ok

It’s always been buggy and glitchy. I’ve had it for years and a lot of common bugs are still there. Recently there’s been one where if I open my notifications it deletes the drawing entirely. You can’t undo this and the repair button doesn’t work. This has been extra hard for me because I’ve been working on a comic and have been set back by days because of this. A comic part that would normally take me a week has taken me 3 weeks. Another one is when I go to open a previous project and the entire app just crashes. I don’t think I need to explain why this is so annoying.

However, there are good things. Some bugs have been fixed, like the one that deletes an entire layer if you press the undo button too many times. The community, if you find the right people, is really good and it’s well moderated. That’s especially great because most people on the app are underaged (including me). The mods are really good, some of them take it a bit too seriously or some not seriously enough but that’s just a very small amount. I really like the textures I can get with the brushes and that I can change the icon of the brushes. It’s really good for beginning animators. I’ve tried using flip a clip for animation but the layer limit sucked, this app, thankfully, doesn’t have a paywall for layers.
Overall, it’s good, it’s ok.

It’s not that bad kinda idk read the review

Over all in the drawing/animating aspects of the app its pretty awesome for beginners. If your interested in animation and want something that will give you a simple user interface made for phones, this one is pretty good. It does get glitchy so if you start getting more ambitious (especially in making more layers/frames) you should probably look into something else. But as a jumping off point into the world or animation it’s pretty great. If you’re looking for something better in drawing I’d recommend IbisPaint!
As for the social media aspects of the app. It has a fairly large amount of people on the app, and as with any large social network, you will have toxic people and bad niches. There are a large amount of negative people and very many of them are very sad, anxious and some are even very depressed or suicidal. But the app is moderated and there as options to ban people from the app for posting/saying inappropriate things. (Like swearing, nudity, and or threats of violence/harm of any kind) And, if you stay away from negative people like that there are many very nice people willing to offer encouragement and compliments as well as constructive criticism to help you grow as an artist. It’s basic and easy to navigate. Though the app is slowing down and as some may say the community is “dying”, it’s a pretty good app and I would recommend it. But read the other reviews and make your own decision.
