Never forget a number. Numzi provides the easiest way to convert numbers into memorable words. Also, Numzi is bi-directional, so you can also use Numzi to convert your words back into your number.
Remember credit card numbers, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, dates, or even remember your parking lot number. Numzi can help you remember the many numbers you deal with daily, which can make life easier.
Numzi is fully portable word / number dictionary that includes word pronunciation. The word / number dictionary works offline and covers the English language with over 220,000 words and over 90,000 unique numbers.
Numzi uses a phonetic code known as the mnemonic Major System to convert numbers into words. The mnemonic Major System method associates numbers 0 through 9 to a specific consonant sound. Using the mnemonic Major System, you can turn the number 735 into “camel" by inserting vowels among the consonants since we know K="7", M="3" and L="5", so “camel" --> K ae M ah L --> 735. If you choose to learn the mnemonic Major System, you can easily convert your Numzi-words in your head, or if you prefer, you can simply use the Numzi App to retrieve your number.
The usefulness of the mnemonic Major System goes beyond the ability to remember numbers. You can also combine this method with the Peg System, to help memorize a numbered list, such as a grocery list or the presidents of the United States, by associating numbers with words easily visualized such as “shoe," “ray", or “home." The Numzi Peg Word list includes a Peg Word Story to help you remember the peg words. Combining the Major System with the corresponding phonetic Peg Word list system helps improve your memory using the same methods as the world memory champions.
Numzi is a fun, handy word / number dictionary tool to help give your number-memory a boost. Never forget a number again!

Overcomes the very difficult part of picking word mnemonics for long numbers easy by breaking apart the number into segments and listing multiple mnemonic words to choose from in each segment. You can then combine the words into a more easily remembered story.
It would be nice to also be able to label and store the number and the mnemonics and story that you chose.
The best app for remembering numbers!
As a young teenager I found a copy of Harry Lorayne's "How to Develop a Super-Powered Memory" In my local library. That is where I first learned about the Major Memory System for numbers. Mowing his 90s Mr Lorayne has written at least two other memory books in the last few years that are updated of his original book. For years I used the Peg Sydtem only for phone numbers but with the Advent of ATMs and needing PIN numbers you are expected to remember for everything, the Peg System has become much more valuable. And Numzi is the app that produces words for any combination of numbers. Lorayne's original book contained a list of only 100 Peg words to memorize, but Numzi can produce words for 3 and sometimes 4 letter combinations. Not just one word but everyone imaginable. When I found Numzi I felt like a kid at Christmas! My heartfelt thanks to the inventor of this fine app!
Very nice app
What I like about this app: 1. converting texts into numbers and vice versa with no limit to number of characters/digits. 2. It has the pronunciation guide with caps for converting letters. 3. all dictionary words are shown for a given number. So far it runs fine without any issues. Thank you thank you!
