I used it for couples time, it is great idea to know yourself of how you play. But I didn’t know how to know what my strings tennis is. It doesn’t how on my app.

Initial roll out date was pushed back but item finally arrived in late April. Data gathered seems largely accurate and fairly extensive but the UI is very cumbersome. Getting the actual dampener on the string-bed is challenging and to call it a dampener is a misnomer - it doesn’t dampen any vibration, which changes the feel of play when using it. It worked fine recording data for about a month but in the last few days, it will not synch w phone, record data, or even stay on. My attempts to get support have all led me to the FAQ page which does not include much info. The device is charged, I’ve tried deleting and reloading app, but nothing has worked so far. Overall, a disappointment. Even if I can get it working again, I cannot recommend this product or app until further development is completed.

The unit itself is bigger than a dampener and tough to get on your strings but once you do it seems to be ok.

The instruction manual that comes with the unit is lacking and there is no online FAQs or expanded instructions. It’s tough to understand if the unit it on, recording and syncing. The lights on the units are very confusing.

In regards to stats - I used the unit and played 3 singles matches - 2 went three sets. For all three matches it said I had less than 15 serves a match. So that isn’t accurate. And it said I had single digit volleys which I know I had more. In regards to forehands and backhands - the top spin seemed to be low but who knows. But when I know the serves and volleys are not accurate, I have to assume the forehand and backhands are not as well.

Overall - I would not rely on any of the data and think the unit is not ready for prime time. If they can prove otherwise - it has a lot of potential. If the data was accurate - the app interface seems to be everything you’d need.
