A must-have NOT!!!

Other than the annoyance of having to type in the scientific name of each of your plants (who bothers to know that anyways???) the weather location does not work, (a little loading circle barely seems to appear and don’t even bother trying to type it in, nothing happens). app is a bit quirky. Not much use you can get out of it. I’m not old but I’d much rather have a pen and paper in my hand to keep tabs on my plants and just use the basic “reminders” app on my IPhone for when I’m going to water. If you do want to know the scientific names of your plants just go to google. I tried typing in the common name and what do you know, a little icon pops up ... “ooops we don’t seem to have that plant! Create your own generic kind if you want...” Like, who does that!? I really hope my 5star rating of this makes it to the top of the list just so people will read this first and not waste their time. U R WELCOME.

Incomplete App (for now...maybe)

I got this app especially for reminders on my Watch for watering, fertilizing, pruning, etc, since adding them to my calendar was annoying and took up space, but I can’t use it. The notification reminders don’t work, which defeats the purpose of this app. If you add a type of reminder and try to turn on the button it doesn’t work (says there’s something wrong) and I have it on my Apple Watch for notifications, so it’s useless. (Also, it’s a bit annoying to add by scientific name, but I just Googled it.)
In the end, I REALLY wish they would fix that bc I do like this free app more than other paid apps. They could also add things like reminding ahead of time, having an option for indoor plants (since the local weather option wouldn’t apply to those), and I really wish they could add like a checkbox when the reminder was completed in the Watch itself (when gardening, taking a phone can dirty it).
If the notifications get fixed, I’ll bump it to 4 stars, and if the app gets better in general (especially on the Apple Watch) then I’ll bump it to 5 stars.

Amazing idea!

Rating:
I’m giving this app five starts because I LOVE the concept and I really want to see this app develop and prosper. Though there are bugs that should bring the rating down, I just want to show this app and the developers love because they have something great in their hands and I hope they can really upgrade it and meet its true potential.

Bugs:
At the moment it won’t let me add new bugs without my phone basically restarting. I’m wondering if that has to do with the new IOS. Really hope this can be fixed. Also, when you add your own photo of a plant (when I could add plants) you couldn’t adjust the image up or down, it’d just stay right in the middle. You could zoom in though.

Plants:
I can understand that there are so many plants and having information for all of them will take time. So I will be patient and just request plant info when there isn’t any info. I really hope more will be added!

Concept:
It’s just a really great concept and really great for someone who loves their plants. I love that you give the option to add your own photo and even nickname them because god knows all my plants have nicknames. Thank you so much for those cute features. It really personalised the app.

I look forward to updates for this app and what it brings! Also, you guys hiring? Hahah just kidding, but thank you for this cool app.
