myDividends is the easiest way to track your average dividend income. No more waiting for your quarterly statement. No more adding up totals on your calculator.
Especially useful when you have multiple brokerage accounts making dividend income and want a quick glance into all of them at once.
Now you can quickly see the average income your portfolio is making down to the hour!
Companies often change dividend payout amounts, so it’s impossible to know exactly what your income will be until after you receive the money. This app is for those of us who enjoy obsessing about statistics, averages, and our financial independence.
myDividends is the perfect tool for early retirees to estimate what their portfolio is making and see their average yield.
Simple minimalistic design. No account setup, very little manual entry… unless you want to with the custom entry feature!
Fixing a bug that caused a miscalculation of dividend yields for stocks with annual or semi-annual payments, and a few other bug fixes.
Ratings and Reviews
I Like the App, but...
You could add the current market value of each stock by simply multiplying the current price per share by the number of shares I’ve already inputted into the app for each ticker symbol in my portfolios. That would be a simple calculation against two data points the app already collects.
Something not as simple but would really make this app top notch would be a way to collect the historical dividend growth rate each stock has experienced. It could be the average annual growth rate say over the past 3 or 5 years.
Keep making this better and it will get more use I’m sure! Good work so far!
Stock Prices Not Accurate
Been using this app for a while now and love that I can track multiple portfolios. For $4.99 it is definitely worth the purchase price.
A Couple of my coworkers downloaded the free version and enjoy seeing the dividend broken down by hour, day, month, and year as well.
A fun app that makes you want to invest so you can see your retirement dividends growing !
Yay share price updates. Changing my review stars. Really like how the app breaks the dividend out by hour, day, month, year. Also the bargain bin is cool (although sometimes it glitches and shows the same stock multiple times in the list), always nice to see a list of possible companies to check out.
I was excited to buy this app ($4.99 I think), so I could watch the dividends paid per hour, day, month, etc increase.
But I’ve noticed that the current share price does not update. And when it does update, it updates to a price other than the closing share price. Bummed about this as it shows I’m positive on some of my holdings when I’m really negative.
The app failing to update to current share prices makes me doubt if the annual dividend calculation is correct as well.
Nice features, but Needs device syncing
I like the features of the app, but it desperately needs device syncing. I use an iPad Pro, an iPad and an iPhone, and would love to have the same data on all of them without having to renter all the stock transaction info.
Additionally, I have two portfolios, each holding some shares in the same stock. On the main screen that shows all holdings in all portfolios, the one holding that is in both portfolios sorts to the stock when all other holdings are sorted below alphabetically.
