Warning: walkthrough necessary

This is a beautiful game but loses a star and a half for being almost impossible without finding an online walkthrough for certain moments. The flow often makes absolutely no sense and if you just happen to go home in certain times you’ll progress, otherwise you’re stuck wandering the town with no hint on where to go next. It is for sure worth playing, but there are a few games similar to this (Fran Bow, Agent A, etc.) that are challenging but much more intuitive.

Beautiful, quirky challenge

This game stands out. I play a lot of this type of game and often don't bother to finish. However, I played Memoranda to the end because it's imperfect heroine peaked my curiosity. It has wonderful artwork, peaceful soundtrack and a strange little urban fairytale feel to the story. It wasn't always easy to figure out the puzzles either which I appreciate. It's eccentric, peaceful, imaginative -- a quality experience -- definitely created by someone who has seen some life while hanging onto their inner-child. It seems to me that they have focussed on kindness and vulnerability rather than the current climate of glorified meanness -- nice change. Different. Highly recommended.

One of my faves!

I played this game quite awhile back but recently recommended it to my partner as he was looking for a new, fun game for his phone. I remembered how much I enjoyed this one. The animation style is unique and enchanting. Probably my favorite thing about the game. I love how it’s a little odd, as well. Right up my alley. Some of the puzzles are a little confusing and don’t 100% make sense so you have to really think outside of the box with some of them.
