Welding Inspector's Stopwatch calculates heat input (kJ/in) and welding travel speed (in/min) by averaging the amps and volts input by the user while the stopwatch runs. It's designed for an inspector or welding operator to confirm the actual heat input of a weld to that specified by the welding procedure.

Heat input may also be calculated manually using one of the three built-in calculators.

Test tool

I have been using this app for over a year now.
It is one of the best things I have when testing welders. I can Capture the entire weld parameters while not being in the way of the person I am testing, it is so easy to use just start and stop as the welder changes the rod, also very easy to change the volts and amps as the welder makes changes during the process the app is well worth the money.

Awesome time savings

Allowed my inspection team to verify heat input and travel speed real-time on a major pipeline project where heat input control was critical for sufficient mechanical properties. Eliminated delays waiting for the inspector to perform calculations since the calculation is performed as part of the stopwatch itself.
