Description

Your milk is precious. We know. Milk Stash was designed by a pumping mom to help other pumping moms. Track how much you pump and when. Stay on top of your refrigerator and freezer stashes. Know when your milk will expire. Stop guessing or messing with spreadsheets. Start your Milk Stash.

There are tons of breast pumping apps out there. But so much happens after you turn off the breast pump. Pump. Stash. Freeze. Thaw. Feed. And it's often a team effort. Finally, there's a pumping app for all that other stuff too.

We'll help you get set up with a simple, inexpensive DIY storage solution. Already have your own system? No problem. We work with that too.

Use Milk Stash to:
+ Log your pumping sessions.
+ Keep track of multiple stashes across your refrigerator, freezer and deep freeze.
+ Get notified before your milk will expire to
+ Better plan your rotation between frozen and refrigerated milk to
+ Maximize freshness, improving your baby's nutrition and immune system.
+ Coordinate with your caregiver(s) to
+ Know what's happening while you're away and pumping.
+ See statistics on your milk supply and production/consumption rates.
+ Hunt down food allergies by tracking what you ate for each bottle/bag you've stored.

Also:
+ Free and ad-free.
+ Synchronize data between multiple devices and accounts.
+ Web application for caregivers who don't have Apple devices.

Milk Stash is a labor of love by a small team in Boulder, Colorado. Thanks for your support. We'd love to hear from you at feedback@milkstash.com.

Best milk tracking app I’ve found

I do love this app and use it religiously through the day to track my pumping amts and what I place in storage. There are some glitches, but those are easily overlooked since the app is so great at allowing details to be entered. I especially like that you can specify the desire metrics and the graph function over time is a great visualization.
To developers, these are following possible improvement opportunities: 1) on graph page, it defaults to one option and does not remember my preference to see it charted as total volume the next time I open the app 2) max allowable volume on the slide bar is 160 mL. This is on add bag option. So then I have to save the entry and then open it and enter a higher amount via manual entry function 3) this may have been corrected. Previously, when adding bag to storage like freezer, it would just duplicate volume from last entry, despite different amy chosen in slide bar. Therefore, manual correction was needed on the subsequent page.

I downloaded 4 different free breastmilk tracking apps and I found this one to fit my needs in terms of the level of detail in options.
Thank you developers for creating this for pumping mommies. We need all the help we can get.

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for the kind review. I'm glad Milk Stash is the app that worked best for you. We've released a new version, 1.1.6, that responds to some of your feedback. 1) It now remembers which chart you were last looking at when you return to the stats page. 2) It's not very obvious, but if you tap edit in the top right while looking at a stash, you can change the maximum amount. 3) I believe 1.1.6 solves that issue. If you manage to see it again, could you let us know at feedback@milkstash.com?

Great and would recommend but…

The app is great. I love the multiple stashes. I have a home fridge, work fridge/cooler, regular freezer, and a deep freezer. I also have a stash for what I donate to our local milk bank. I usually wouldn’t have to keep my stash separate from the milk bank but I have been recently sick and the antibiotics are not compatible with the milk bank. So I must wait till I and free of antibiotics to donate. That why I need a separate stash. All the features are a bit confusing in the beginning. But after 1-2hrs I think I have it all figured out. The app it’s self is a little bit harder to see being the color scheme is a dark dark blue. But that’s really the only downside. Also seems kinda hard to go from pumped milk to bottle in frigid to frozen bag in stash but I might have just not figured out that part yet. Also would be nice to have a reminder set in the app to remind you when it’s time to pump. Their are simpler ways and apps to do the same thing in but this app best fits my needs and would definitely recommend. I just feel that how complicated and seemingly learning curve included could detour people or make them switch to a seemingly easier app to use.

Love it just needs improvements

I’ve downloaded a couple apps

This app is so close to perfection my problems are my boyfriend isn’t team iPhone so I had to download another app that was compatible for both are phones.

I also would prefer if my baby drinks 20oz a day where it tells you under all your stashes that you have 40oz that next to it it would tell you 2days..

my other app gives me pump alarms 2/3 hours from the last time I pumped automatically after I stop pumping or put a log in
Would prefer if I need to remove a bag I can swipe left instead of deleting I believe they should be switched because I’m more likely to remove them to delete

I do love the different stashes an being able to move them into different stashes. I love the easy logging and tracking I just believe it could do a lot more an be a better app.
An I’m a tad confused on the qr codes

Overall I’m just stuck between two apps this one and pumping they both have things that the other doesn’t they both work great it’s just a matter of what I need more an which to choose cause I don’t need them both
