Man you guys have a really good thing going here but there’s one problem I have. The pvp makes up a good chunk of this game but there’s currently a huge problem with that. To my knowledge there was an event that let new players choose between a lineup of the best heroes and it would give them that unit to them fully leveled. Now I’m new and I joined just a little while ago so I missed this event so I had more of A natural progression which means I have mostly random 5 to 4 stars varying in strength but the problem that’s happening is that anyone who came in after that event gets hard stomped in all pvp content since the value of a fully leveled and awakened six star is already high but they were also chosen from the best units in the game specifically Poseidon and champion wild. It’s gotten to the point where if I see either of those I just skip the match but that doesn’t work since everyone has them and some of the pvp content won’t let you skip that opponent. and and example of how bad it is is that those two heroes can actually solo a team most of the time. All this just really makes pvp unplayable for me and this wouldn’t be a problem if the game didn’t have so many pvp modes but they do which is why I feel like this problem needs to be addressed. I like your game I really do but seeing my team get wiped by a Poseidon just really bums me out.
A Game That The Developers Want You To Succeed At
I’ve played a lot of these type of games, particularly ones where they give you a lot in the beginning, only to throw you to the wolves when the beginner period is over; good/great team members/gear/currency becomes scarce, difficulty level jumps, making you feel like it’s PTW (pay to win). This IS NOT one of those games. I’m 20 levels in and and the game still gives plenty of great, high-rank party members, showers you in gold and gems, and does a great job at encouraging you to explore all the things to do in it, as well as developing your team (I.e. crap-ton of rewards). The tongue-in-cheek feel of the game is also welcome, like the developers just want you to like and play the game, instead of being focused on exploring your wallet. For those that WANT to throw some money in, they do give you extra rewards daily by increasing your VIP level, but it has never felt necessary. This game has been done right, on the true premise that a good game will have players giving more money out of want, rather than need.
Addicting game, but terrible RNG and WAY too expensive
I’ll start by saying I came to this game after playing RAID and Summoners War. Compared to other games of this genre, this game is much more enjoyable to play with many things to do. The combat is really exciting and easy to learn. However, I do agree that some players have an advantage due to past events that gave players rare, fully leveled heroes for free, so that gives an upper advantage in PvP for newly registered beginners like myself. Secondly, the price of gems is OUTRAGEOUS. I have never seen a game that has prices this high for in game currency for the amount of gems required to do anything. Needless to say, heroes can be earned, but the best ones require buying “Medal Boxes”, which relies on RNG up to 16 purchases at 300 gems each, totaling up to 4,300 gems which equals about $400 in gems for 1 hero. I whole heartedly believe the developers need to reconsider the price point of gems in the game, or consider lowering the cost of items that are only obtainable by gems, as the cost is straight robbery with the low RNG%. Graphics, gameplay, and playability earns 3 stars. The fact the cost of gems is outrageous and the RNG is ridiculously bad, -2 stars.
