Works well from stored photos

Tried this app with first time success on photos of LMB and Northern. Pictures were not closeups of the fish but rather full view of me holding the fish. Took maybe 3 seconds to pull up ID and Wikipedia entry. Only problem is with the Wikipedia window. On my iPhone 5s IOS 11.3.1, the Wikipedia window is formatted incorrectly with a small scrolling window superimposed on a larger view of the Wikipedia page that doesn’t scroll.

It’s not bad but not worth $5.

App is pretty decent at identifying, have had a few misidentifications but more correct identifications so that’s a plus. I live in Georgia and it does fairly well at identifying the usual fish you’d catch in the creeks/rivers and lakes. It’s all about the picture quality and angling of the fish. To get the best match, the fish needs to have its full side facing the camera with good quality and lighting to assure the scales/colors and overall structure of the fish is visible. I have had I’d say at least 95% identification success using that method.

Amazing worked perfectly

I think the app worked but I think you have to show the whole fish I guess for it to work perfect.
