MY FAVORITE CALCULATOR
I do small auction-trading, and this calculator works perfectly when toggling back and forth from auction to pricing. No ads is great The only flags I got was a request to “Rate App.” Once I rated the app there were no more flags. I recommend use it for a while, rate it then get to work. The only thing I wish was different is brighter or bolder figures on the black screen. The history function is useful. If it would include a 2-month (or longer) filing cabinet function, it would be the best calculator on the market.
“I LOVE THIS THING.”
Pretty useful calculator... with a few quirks
With no documentation and no other means of contacting the developer for guidance, I was forced to initially post a negative review in the hopes of getting some feedback as to how some of the features were supposed to work. After reading the developer’s subsequent feedback, I at least now know what the “diskette” and “folder” icons are supposed to do (see developer’s response — spoiler alert: tapping the “folder” icon will create an archive of all of the calculations that were on the screen, and the blank input screen you see is simply for entering the title you want to give that archive.) So, all in all, except for a few quirks (eg. adding a title to an individual calculation inserts it below the calculation instead of above?), it really is a pretty useful calculator. Now, if only there was a way to paste in values or expressions, or go back and edit a calculation you previously entered, that would be really helpful.

The instructions and examples:
Save: Tap on the “diskette” icon to save current history data which is displayed on the screen, type a title in the title box for the data.
Load: You can tap on the “folder” icon and then choose a line with its title(The format: Your title + [rows of the data]) which you saved to bring the history data back to your screen. If you have further questions about this, you can also send an email to contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org).
B.Tap on the “diskette” icon to save the three rows of data on the screen, give it a title "my test data A".
C.Clear the screen.
E.Tap on the “diskette” icon to save the two rows of data on the screen, give it a title "my test data B".
F.Tap on the “folder” icon and then choose a line with title "my test data A" and you can see the three rows of history data displayed on the screen instead of that two rows of data.
G.Tap on the “folder” icon and then choose a line with title "my test data B" and you can see the two rows of history data displayed on the screen instead of that three rows of data.
1) Like others, I am being hammered for a review every time I open or use the app or switch between it and another app and then return. I like to use an app for awhile before I rate. The constant reminders are annoying, especially when I’m needing to go to other pages to look up info needed for a calculation.
2) Having used the app, I found what I consider a flaw. I have a habit of entering a decimal even for a round number with no fractions or cents. But when I do that, no matter what math function I choose, the next number entered is used to form a fraction of the first.
So….50. X 2 = 50.2, 45. divided by 8 = 45.8. This makes me wonder if there are other oddities that affect my calculated results. Right now, I feel like I’m being overly generous by giving 2 stars and not the minimum. Having a visible tape summary added the star…but it is also what showed me instantly that some calculations are absolutely wrong.

Hi, you must have misunderstood. The [50 . X 2 = 50.2] will never actually happen because there is a format checking system in this app. When you click a button in the keyboard to input a new mathematic character, there will be a Key Tone sound(if it is not muted) and your input bar will update to show the new calculation if the mathematic character has been successfully inputed. But the new mathematic character can not pass the verification if it will lead to a badly formed calculation in your input bar, it will be considered an invalid input and the app would sound immediate warning. In this example [50 . X 2], if you try to click the [X (the multiplication sign)] after your calculation [.], the [X (the multiplication sign)] button won't make a normal Key Tone sound, it sounds an alarm instead, the calculator won't get the [X (the multiplication sign)] and your input bar will not show the new [X (the multiplication sign)] because the badly formed calculation [.] [X (the multiplication sign)] can not pass the verification, in that instance, you can see that the calculation displayed in your input bar will still be [.], but not [.][X (the multiplication sign)]. Please note that the [.] [X (the multiplication sign)] can not pass the format checking system verification in the calculator, the [X (the multiplication sign)] after the [.] is an invalid input, it will be refused, so if you don't delete the [.] but continue to click the button , you will see the calculation displayed in your input bar will be [.] , but not [.] [X] , so you get a [50.2 = 50.2], and the calculation in the history tape will be [50.2 = 50.2], this is normal. If you want to input the calculation [50X2], please don't input the [.] before the [X (the multiplication sign)], it does not comply with the normal format, you can just input a calculation [50X2=], the history tape will be [50X2=100] then. For the same reason, if you click the buttons [.] [÷] , the [÷] after the [.] is an invalid input, it will be refused, if you continue to click the button , the calculation displayed in your input bar is [.] , but not [.] [÷] , the badly formed calculation [.] [÷] can not pass the verification, so you get a [45.8 = 45.8], and the calculation in the history tape will be [45.8 = 45.8]. If you want to input the calculation [45÷8], please don't input the [.] before the [÷]. Please look at the feedback of your input bar when you try to input a calculation, you can listen to the key tone and you can look at the history tape after that to check your calculation.
