The Treadly app was built on the social aspect of walking together and the accountability that naturally stems from having a community of friends and family supporting your commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Combined with the ultra-thin, super-smart treadmill that fits anywhere. Treadly is the social experience you’ve been craving.

This app also has an Apple Watch integration allowing users to send workout session data such as Time, Steps, Distance, & Speed (from Watch) to the app. The watch app is also integrated with the Health app to send and store workout information.

App Feature Request

I’ve had the Treadly for about a week and so far like it very much. Currently the app doesn’t offer much advantage to me. I’m not really too interested in the social aspects of the app, but am more interested in being able to program a workout into the app and have it automatically control the treadmill. This feature is available in typical gym type treadmills and seems doable with the app. So in addition to setting the speed, you could also set the duration or distance. So for example, I would like to program the treadmill for a 3.5 mph workout for 10 minutes. Is this something that could be included in a future update? If the feature is already there, I’ve totally missed it.

Thank you for your feedback! We will definitely take this into consideration for a future update.

Basic Integration with Apple Watch/Health w/ caveat

Overall, I’m enjoying my treadmill, but the app interface leaves a lot to be desired and the main dashboard is not useful (i.e., I don’t want to see my total steps ever taken aggregated across all workouts on my home page).

My main complaint, however, is the way in which the Treadly app sends the data to my Apple Watch and Apple Health app. All Treadly sessions are sent either as Indoor Walk or Outdoor Walk Workouts (not sure why the indoor/outdoor switch). The trouble is Apple tracks daily Step Count as a separate metric from Workout activity. Thus, any steps taken on the Treadly won’t rollup to your daily Step Count on your Apple Watch.

One of the main reasons my household chose the Treadly 2 Pro was because of the app’s integration with the Apple Watch and the Apple Health app (we all love to see those rings close!) As we thought it would be a good way to “get some steps in” while working at our standing desk, this result is a little disappointing.

One could argue this is a defect on Apple’s behalf (shouldn’t walk “workouts” count toward daily steps?). But it would be nice to have the option in the Treadly app to designate a treadmill session as either a workout or a non-workout (like using the treadmill for an extended period of time at a standing desk).

Thank you for your sharing your thoughts with us. We have improved the integration with our app and Apple Health to ensure the workout data is accurate. Once you update the app to the latest version, please make sure to update the firmware on your Treadly by going into the app settings->firmware updates.

App/syncing NOTHING like advertised

The treadmill itself works. I’ll give it that but the smartphone app is terrible. Make the arrows to adjust speed BIGGER on the smart phone screen and get rid of the dial that you slide with your finger. Sometimes it won’t stay connected for workouts and can’t sync after the fact so I lose credit for my workout I. The overall stats. MAJOR FAIL: THERE ARE NO SOCIAL GROUPS TO JOIN. It keeps saying they’re working on this area of the app and I’ve owned it for months now!!! Get it together guys :( Part of why I bought it was to walk with others in a group and hopefully find new friends on there. Consequently I haven’t used it as much as I’d like to justify the cost. I wish they had been more up front about the app not being finished instead of making it sound like other social exercise apps that allow you to connect with others. Regretting my purchase now.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! You are now able to join social groups with our latest app update. Once you update the app, make sure to update the firmware on your Treadly to ensure that all of your workouts are saved accurately. This can be done by going into your app settings > firmware updates.
